Chapter 14- Steev's thought about Shika

382 Words
Steev's POV : Here one thing was sure that Shika was my close friend. I wanted to take this friendship a bit further. I mean something more than friendship. But I was very scared and unsure about Shika’s opinion about that matter. I was sure that she would not accept me if I tell her to marry me. She would not even accept to be my girlfriend I thought. “Wait a minute… are you overthinking again Steev”, I told it out loud to myself. I suddenly realized that I was overthinking again. I actually needed time to think about moving towards relationship with Shika. It was too early to decide or even to think about all that. And my primary priority was to work hard and get settled in life and also to get rich. I assumed that getting rich was very important and it was one of the most important parts among girls list of dreams and for a girl to accept a man’s proposal. I didn’t know this assumption was right or wrong but I decided it by myself and believed it. If a man is jobless and has no money then a girl might not marry him, this was my thought. Day by day I was acting too much. My stupid thoughts were going beyond my limits and also beyond my control. But I always convinced myself to be stronger and positive day by day. I knew negative thoughts would make me week. After all this, to make my mind and soul fresh I decided to go out to the market and get some fruits and vegetables. We had to buy them anyway, instead of waiting for John to come back I decided to go alone and buy them. It was e a great time pass and also good relaxation for me. So I got ready and took some money and left to the market. Market was near by. It was just 10 minutes away from my room by walking. So I started walking to the market. I really felt relaxed while walking on the road. I realized the importance of “Me Time”. I understood that taking time for ourselves and spending time with ourselves was most important thing for any human being.
