Chapter - 58 - Conversation with the Manager

Steev's POV :

As I had reached office, I was walking towards the office and I realised someone was walking with me beside me. I turned my neck and looked at that person surprisingly. The man was well dressed and was wearing sun glasses and he was wearing face mask. I was unable to recognise him. I was puzzled, if I know him or not. The person said, " Hey Steev, good morning. " I was stunned for a moment. Then I too replied even though I had not recognised him. " Hello , good morning. " " How was the first day of work yesterday? " , he asked me. " Yes it wasa great day. Definitely it is going to remain one of the memorable days for me. " , I replied. " That is good to hear. I am glad that your very first day went super good. " , the person said. " Yes thank you. " , I replied. By the time we were having a conversation another lady passed by and greeted the person, " Good morning manager. " I was paused the and then. I was nervous for no reason. I realised how casually I spoke with the person even without realising that he was our manager. I felt stupid about myself. Meanwhile As we had reached the entrance of the office manager went inside first, then I had to complete signature procedure as usual and then go inside.
