Chapter - 18 - Steev's Excitement about his Dish.

Steev's POV :

If I ever get an opportunity to get married in my life then surely it would be with Shika I said to myself. ( Smiling )

Before meeting Shika I never ever had any thoughts about having a life partner or getting married. But Shika made me feel that having a life partner who will always support me and be with me in my ups and downs is very important in life. We never had any conversation about marriage or life partner but just by looking at her I feel like that.

I had finished having my rice. The dish that I prepared was really yummy. I was excited to give it to John and Shika. As it was 2 PM and I was done with my yummy lunch I thought of taking a small nap until John comes back. I washed my plates in which I had my food and then I laid down to take a small nap.

When I opened my eyes post my nap it was already 4 : 45 PM. There was only 15 minutes left for John to come back. Thank God I woke up early at that time. I went to washroom and washed my face. I was fresh then. I sat down waiting for John. At exactly 5 PM John came. He opened the door and entered the room. And as usual he told, “Hi Steev, how was the day without me ? Did you have your lunch ?”.

“Yes I had my lunch and my day was really awesome today”, I replied.

“Awesome day? Why? What was so special today?”, he questioned.

I in a broken voice said, “ Nah- Na- Nothing John… I was saying just like that”.

“Oh Okay”, he replied.

After that he went to the washroom to take bath. I was sitting down and waiting for him to come out so that I can give him the dish which I prepared by my own with lots of love.

Finally John finished his bath and came out of the washroom.

“Hey Steev, why are you sitting down like that? What happened?”, John asked.

“Nothing just like that.”, I told. After that John went to kitchen to prepare tea.

“John today there is something special for you to eat”, I told. “Is it, what is that? Give it to me”, he said. “Okay sit down I will bring it to you”, I said very excitedly and went to the kitchen.

I served the dish and some rice into the plate and gave it to John. Seeing the yummy dish John was very surprised. “Who brought it? Did you buy it from out?, It looks very much yummy”, John asked excitedly. I started laughing out loud after listening to John’s questions.

“What? Why are you laughing like this? First answer my questions.”, John said.

“I will answer all your questions, but first you taste it and tell me how is it”, I said to John.

“I will taste it for sure because it looks so yummy”, John said.

John took a piece of chicken and tasted it. After eating one piece he took another one and ate, he repeatedly did it two to three times.

“John!! Stop eating and please tell me how is the taste?” I asked very eagerly.

“The taste is really extremely tasty, yummy, fantastic and so on. I have no words to express”, said John with lots of excitement on his face and words.

“At least now you answer me Steev, from where you bought this yummy dish?” John asked.

I started laughing again. “Please stop laughing you foolish man”, Said John.

“Okay.. Okay.. I will tell you everything. You know what… this dish is prepared by me”, I said John laughingly.

“What!! really ? You prepared this? But how?”, John asked me with surprised face and expressions.
