Chapter - 47 - Office life

Steev's POV :

I got up from the chair and went out of the room. I thought of going out by myself and having food from outside. As I was walking I heard Jack's voice. He came to me and said, "Shall we have the lunch together?" "Yes sure, why not.", I replied. We both started walking towards the exit of the building. We heard someone announcing that the lunch was arranged for us in the office for that day. Jack got too excited and ran towards that person who did the announcement about the lunch. They person directed him that it was arranged in the college canteen. Jack didn't even looked at me and directly ran towards the canteen. I was left there all alone. There I remembered John's love and care towards me. He never left me alone even on the very first day of our meet. I walked towards the canteen all alone. Though I was not expecting any company I felt lonely. Being in a huge company and not having any partner was a hell feeling. But that was not the thing to worry about I thought and walked happily. As I reached to the canteen Jack came running towards me and said, " I am really very sorry for leaving you all alone and running like that. I am a very big foodie, that's why I was not able to control myself. " " Oh I see, no problem.", I replied. After that we went in a queue and served the food in our plates and sat to have food. The food was really amazing. I liked it. Jack served the food twice and ate it. He was a very funny person to be honest.
