Ethan’s POV
“Come on man, are you going to stay here all day?” Rafaelle taps by the back, the private Jet parking in my personal parking lot
“I pay for it don’t I?” I pull my eyes open to his face hovering over mine.
“Lexi was right, you are arrogant, how come I never saw it till she pointed it out?” He shakes his head, a brown backpack crossed over his back.
“Hmmm Lexi” her name rolls off my tongue and honestly I can’t seem to forget her.
“Make sure Victoria never finds out about what happened, you know how crazy your chick is” he raises a brow at me, the flight attendants walking towards us
“Sir, your car is here,” she says sending me a seductive smile.
I want to stare at her and feel something, lust, anything but I feel nothing as my thoughts are occupied by only one person at the moment and that person is not my fiancé.
“Victoria is crazy” I shake my head, Victoria is my fiancé and we have been dating for a pretty long time, long enough to forgive each other so much for cheating, with the amount of money I have, it was impossible not to, with so many beautiful women out there, Victoria tried hard to protect her property and because I have a soft spot for her I let her do what she wants, go crazy if she wants which resulted in her doing crazy things to women I rolled into bed with.
Due to me trying to gain the full rights to my grandfather's inheritance and needing a wife and a child to claim them, I decided f**k it!! and proposed to her, and according to her, it was a few weeks to our wedding.
But guess what, I married some hot mysterious stranger I can’t seem to get out of my head.
“Urgh” I moan out walking out of the plane, parked In front of us are 5 cars, the guards all pull-out and they remind me of who I am.
Ethan Blackwood, Self-made Trillionaire, and heir to my grandfather's empire as soon as I have my hands on a wife and child.
I slide into the car beside Rafaelle and the thoughts of Lexi occupy my mind again, in the hours that have passed, pieces of memories from that night had started pouring in.
“What do you want to have?” I raise a brow at her as the club gets busy, the space is tight but it’s the best place to hook up with the most beautiful women from different countries.
Vegas was the city of Sin and in here to sin in every way possible before my wedding.
“Nothing thank you” She downs the last of her alcohol walking towards the dance floor, her waist moving left and right, inviting me to follow her.
I quickly pay for our drinks following her deeper into the dance floor, we dance the night away, forgetting our friends, and we quickly grab more drinks, getting flat-out drunk.
I shake my head trying to forget the beautiful smile that crossed her face when I suggested we get married.
Her eyes had lit up so bright that night and I was fully convinced while drunk that she was the one for me.
I guess not, I shake my head turning back to my phone.
Lexi POV
“What the f**k is this?” I say my eyes wide open at the both of them.
At the sound of their names, they had pulled away from each other and used the duvet to cover their body in shame, Disgust evident on my face.
“What the f**k is this??” I yell again, my eyes wide open in shock, my heart pummels in my chest as they share a look, anger overtaking Jackson's features
“Honey” she whispers holding his arm as he gets ready to stand up.
“I think it’s time we tell you the truth Lexi” he shakes his head at her turning to me.
“I can’t marry you because I’ve never loved you,” he says his voice hard and finger pointed at me in anger, “I’ve only loved one woman in my lifetime and that’s your sister, Sophia” he points to her and she delicately holds on to him
I stand there in shock, my tear ducts tearing up, and the tears start to pour.
What..what are you saying?” I ask my heart breaking with each statement.
“We were only using you Lexi” She shakes his head, laughter pulling through, “You know I had a lot of debts, so I have to clear them some way” he shrugs and my eyes widen
“Oh no” My eyes move around the bedroom to find the papers I had signed over and handed him right before my trip, my father's properties and accounts”
“I already cashed them in, don’t bother” he rolls his eyes standing up, “that money paid off my debts and a new business venture and of course, our wedding” he turns to Sophia with a soft smile on his face
“You can’t do this Jackson!! You can’t!!” I yell back at him but he doesn’t mind my years, he grabs me by the arm along with my bags out of his bedroom.
Sophia who has slipped into a night dress of mine follows behind excitement on her face as he throws me out of the door and onto the dark rug.
“Wait Jackson!! You can’t do this, no!!” I yell tears pouring down my face as I lose the o my man I have ever known my whole life, the boy I crushed on, the man I dated, and the man I was supposed to marry.
“Don’t bother coming back, unless you want to attend the wedding, right baby?” He turns to Sophia who places a hard kiss on his lip right in front of me
“Right baby” she sends me an evil smirk snuggling into his side.
“Wait Jackson!!” I yell out but he shuts the door in my face the force from the door pushing me back to the floor in shame.
I stand there, eyes wide open in shock at what just transpired. My shaking fingers grab my phone, I slide through my contacts trying to decide on who to call to get me out of this mess.
I frown deeply at myself, I signed everything over to him, and from what he said, he has used all of the money already.
My fingers hang on the contact that reads my step-mother, I groan to myself, I can't report this to her, I am sure she is well aware her daughter has been f*****g my fiance from the very beginning.
My lips shake as tears fill my eyes, I cant believe the both of them, betraying me like this, my step-sister I would expect this from but Jackson.
I close my eyes reflecting on all the times he told me he loved me, all the times he held my hands and told me I could do it when I first started my business but here he was laying on the bed and letting that b***h grip him with her stupid claws.
“Arregggghhh” I yell to myself like a crazy person making the neighbor pull up her blond sending me the stink eye.
“Go get drunk somewhere else!!” she yells closing her blinds back.
I shake my head letting the tears fall, my bags scattered around the cement floor, I have to find a place to stay, and a way to fight this, “There has to be something I can do, I can't accept this” I shake my head catching a cab with my clothes in tow.
