My hands subconsciously go to my belly feeling the slight roundness that was still there and for a second made me believe I hadn't lost the pup - but then reality kicked in quickly knowing the bump would soon disappear as my pup was no longer there. I take my hands away from my stomach, getting out of the car and wrapping my coat around me - I had been wearing larger clothes for a while to hide the pregnancy but still I need to hide the bump in case anyone sees and assumes things that will have to be met with an explanation which I don't want to give - I've already cried too much. My wolf whines for our mate; Jason had been away on pack business in another territory and had wanted me to come with him but I still didn't feel safe leaving our home let alone our territory so I had stayed.
