I had to call Doug to come pick Amour, it was not logical that both of us would be out of the house especially when the girls have school tomorrow and I know she has a meeting out of town tomorrow, I don’t know how long it’s going to take to be here. Joe was in the ICU and I hope they come talk to me very soon, Doug texted that he was outside.
‘Babe, I’m so sorry for dragging you here’ I kiss her forehead ‘Doug is outside, I asked him to come pick you up’
‘Will you be good on your own?’
‘Sure, you need to prep for your trip tomorrow’ She hugs me tight

She looks sleepy, I hold her hands and lead her outside to where Doug texted that he was, we exchanged pleasantries and I strapped Amour into the car then kiss her forehead.
