TOTAL OBEDIENCE AND THE CONTRAST

In this chapter of this book, I am going to be using Abraham and Moses as my key subject and if you can read with the mind of revelation, you will learn a lot and it will help guide you against derail and fall from ASCAT’s ordinance.

I woke very early around 3.00 am to continue typing my book and ASCAT spoke to me in an accent loud and clear saying, “I don’t need your help... the only help I need from you is to obey Me. He said, “Son…! What I Am set to do in your life, you can only but imagine it...So, separate yourself from your good intentions and do my ordinance. I do not need your sacrifice; I need your obedience… My Son has given it all on the cross.”

Hmm!

I could not swallow this reality of the above… I only have to start learning afresh to obey ASCAT beyond my good intentions. Therefore, I had to pick my Bible as usual, but this time in the office that same day and started studying the life of Abraham, after which I proceeded to that of Moses and I noticed some contrast I need to share with it and us would help us in our life’s decision and ministry… I pray for the grace to bring to us the revelation knowledge of ASCAT through this topic because literally, it is beyond my understanding.

Obedience is a thing of conscious and deliberate acceptance to do something that could be against your wish. As a civil servant working under a boss, I know what that means and I do not need them to teach me. Citing an instance where my boss will call me into his office, all for him to tell me to get him his spoon from the fridge. Deep down inside of me, I will feel hurt, but without complaining, I will obey and do it. I have never objected…. However, have always obeyed. Please do think or assume my boss is just using me like a servant. Even if he is…, I see it as raising a leader. If I cannot obey him, how do I expect others who will come under me to obey? My boss is one good person whom I would ever want to work with over and repeatedly if I have the opportunity. Nevertheless, I brought this into view to create a consciousness in you that sometimes, obedience could cost and hurt you, but will make you great. It will deal and suppress self and make you humbly feat for greater height. Obedience will temper with what you desire on your own to do. It is like a test and you must be wise to know how to attempt whatever instructions, so as not try doing your own will in an attempt to impress anyone, else you will end up failing and not getting the reward you deserve.

This is a call to death to what you know or can think, following the instructions outside what you think, blindly the instructions, not trying to modify or correct what you think is wrong to suit what you think. From Genesis to Revelation, there has always been a challenge obeying ASCAT’s instructions and this has cost humanity. ASCAT wants us to obey and walk in His perfect will so that we will not stray. Without obedience, there must be straying from the right path. Obedience to the will of ASCAT spans beyond our good intentions because even in your good, there could still be an iota of self. In addition, total obedience to ASCAT does not involve self. Obedience is a thing of the spirit. This implies a carnally minded person, will always have thoughts and would want to obey, but partly. It is naturally natural for a man to have a reservation when it comes to the issue of obedience. This could be a secret in the heart, nobody will know.

When you are obedient to the instructions of ASCAT, He comes down to talk to you face to face and you will hear Him in an accent loud and clear. Obedience to the word of ASCAT, contracts ASCAT to go ahead of you, such that you will only experience His grace that will serve as a grease to lubricate your will to hearken to His Word. Your intentions might give you good or your expected result but may end up upsetting ASCAT, if there is a drift in totally obeying what you need to do as instructed. ASCAT could be telling you like Moses speak to the rock, but you end up analyzing the possibility of water coming out of the rock. When he gave thoughts, his thought took him out of ASCAT’s will and he acted in anger as he became logical and ended up smiting the rock instead of speaking to the rock as instructed.

ASCAT does not avert the implication of disobedience until true repentance is in place. Total obedience to ASCAT is what confirms our faith as Christians. Let us learn something key from Abraham, the father of faith, a perfect example of one who was very obedient to ASCAT in all and did not reserve anything. You could imagine ASCAT telling you, get out of your country, from your family and your father’s house to somewhere that you did not even know and he did not even tell you the location or the name of the country. Please be sincere in your heart even as you read, will you do that? Even if you will, will not you ask questions/ but Abraham did not ask ASCAT any question? All I read and could remember from the Scripture is, “So Abram departed as the LORD had said to him…..” (Gen. 1: 4)

ASCAT said, “The country He will show him….” However, did not call the name of the country, why did not Abraham ask to know the name of the country?

When the Lord gives instruction, the knowledge 8is simply in carrying out the instruction, you do not need to ask to know before you could carry it out because your understanding may not grasp the possibility, so instead of carrying it out, you will end up giving excuses and debating to prove that you cannot carry out the instruction. Normally I cannot go to the government and have an expressway to see the governor. However, when I go with my office seal, representing my Managing Director or the management, they will give me access. All I need do is to follow a present exactly his instructions as directed. Therefore, when ASCAT gives you instructions, he authenticates it with his seal such that everything will obey you in carrying out the mandate. Your only task is to obey and act on His Word.

When you obey ASCAT’s instructions sheepishly, He becomes your eyes and He takes charge of your thoughts to authenticate clearly that you are on the right track. It is this consciousness that creates a sense of intimacy, which brings to revelation His perfect will for your life and instils into you, the peace that passes understanding and makes your heart be at rest even when terror looms.

If your relationship with ASCAT has based on total obedience to His will, you can never get it wrong. Even in your relationship and life’s pursuits, you cannot get it wrong. We end up struggling in life because our obedience to the perfect will of ASCAT is partly.
