THE EXPERIENCE AT THE WILDERNESS OF ZIN (NUMBER 20: 1-13)

Most of our churches today has become complain ground like the wilderness of Zin. The people are hungry, they are thirsty and desperately longing for the truth, but it seems the truth has gone extinct.

Moses’ error was a result of anger and this cost him his destiny. In our time, Pastors and Ministers of the Gospel are like Moses in the Old Testament time. If we are not careful to follow strictly the instructions of ASCAT to quench their thirst, even as you are been tested, you will react in anger and serve them a meal that they seem to want, but in reality, you have derailed, not following ASCAT’s instructions, but doing what your conscience tells you as you allow your emotions and feelings to take the drive.

As a Pastor, if you have not grown beyond your emotion and feeling, you are still a babe, you need to feed well and grow into maturity by obeying ASCAT without thinking about what your congregation is complaining about. Focus on ASCAT, instead of your congregation, because from therein, you will have clear instructions on how to calm the storm in your congregation. There had never been and there will never a congregation without a mixed multitude. And provided there is a mixed multitude, there would always be complaints here and there. Don’t be disturbed by complaints, stay focused on the Father’s love, for therein, storms are calmed.

Moses was meant for the land flowing with milk and honey, but he became conscious of the inevitable distractions and this made him act contrary to the simple instruction of ASCAT, asking him to speak to the rock.

Moses after gathering the congregation together, called them rebels, but his act was an act of rebellion to ASCAT, having been instructed to speak, he struck. A lot of us Christians today are still living with such kind of attitude, doing what we feel we should do, even after hearing the Lord’s instructions.

It is dangerous to act based on your emotion and feelings…………

The words of Moses were quite repelling without love, “Hear now, you rebels…”! From the word, it is very clear that Moses has crossed the line of his patience and came to a breaking point. As Minister, please, do you have a rebellious congregation? Learn from Moses’ and watch your anger, so that you will not lose what you have for long stood for. It is dangerous not to be obedient to ASCAT because it can cost you your destiny, so watch it!

The Lord will always lead us through situations that will lead us into a decision that would bring out our true nature in Him, even if it appears and seem not good, he intends to bring us to a better end. No matter the tests, even if death seems to be the only means of comparison, ASCAT has the future in mind and the future is embedded in His plans for us (Jeremiah 29: 11).

The reality of life all happens in the mind even as we have thought.

When the Accuser wants to play pranks with our emotions, he takes hold of our thoughts. By so doing, he convinces us to accept impressions that seem true, but are not. When we truly understand our make-up in the Father’s love, we will function under the thought of ASCAT and the Accuser will have no power over us.

If you don’t guide your heart, you will fall for anything and the truth is, you can only guide your heart by resting in His love. We are in an era of deception, where everything appears to be real but the reality spans beyond appearance.

As a growing youth, I have always wonder why things happen the way they do. The happenings in my family put me in a conscious pre-ending state of mind, ever thinking…. This made me became an old man even when literally by my chronological age. I was just a baby. I am glad today to tell you, that the implication of all these happenings birthed the depth of my inspiration.

As a young man, I have come to discover, many things are calling our attention and most of these things are well packed in an irresistible container to capture our heart. These come with great offers that present riches and wealth, fame and glory that makes one fantasize about living as ASCAT in his/her world, called the world of celebrities, becoming so busy to the point of not having time for ASCAT.

Why is ASCAT so particular about our heart?

The heart is the spiritual part of a man where our emotions and desires dwell. ASCAT is love and what He desires with man is, true relationship, which implies, ASCAT has a heart and if the heart regulates His thoughts and all He is, is in His thoughts, it implies the Word of ASCAT is the thought of ASCAT because it contains all of ASCAT. Therefore, to guide our heart with all diligence, is not a thing of our effort, is a thing of understanding and knowing His love for us and the consciousness of His love, makes us focus on Him and when we are focused on Him, we can never experience a wondering thought. This could only happen by inclining our heart to the Word of ASCAT.

ASCAT is a concern with the heart of a man because all of man is in his thought. Once the heart comes under the control of ASCAT, he will remain with ASCAT to do His will.

David was a man after ASCAT’s own heart because he knows and obeys ASCAT by focusing not on his mistakes and shortcomings but the perfect love of ASCAT. He knows that ASCAT can never leave, nor forsake him, so He dwells on that reality to rest in the assurance of ASCAT’s grace. He understands the dynamics of the relationship with ASCAT, such that, even when he fails ASCAT a thousand times, disappoints ASCAT a million times, he knows how to retrace his step back to the Father’s love.

When your heart experiences the ultimate drive-by focusing on the Father’s love, you will become alert spiritually to understand the things of the spirit and do the ordinance of ASCAT.

The human heart in its normal state is evil, treacherous and full of deceit. ASCAT searches the heart and tests the mind. ASCAT will reward by how we respond to His love, not to our doings. Thoughts control our actions and thoughts are the conception of the heart, where blood is been pumped to all parts of the body, generating a constant rhythm that would always tend toward…

The heart can never stop beating until you stop breathing. In addition, as long as the heart keeps beating, thoughts exist as generated impulses. These thoughts are living spirit that activates our mindset to tend toward the direction its leads. Moreover, if these thoughts do not come under the regulation of the Word of ASCAT, they will certainly tend toward the world. Once it tends the world’s direction, it becomes evil, no matter how good it may seem or appear to look, it is simply evil lying await.

The implication of not guiding your heart is to fail.

Mark 7: 21-23

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, theft, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things and defile a man.

The problem we experience today in life is not from what we see; it is from what comes out from us, birthed in our thoughts. You can never be tempted outside your thoughts and this reality is what the Accuser capitalizes on to make a shipwreck of our life by bringing our thoughts under negative influences.

I reiterate your heart must firmly come under the guidance of the Holy Spirit by meditating on the Father’s love for you in Christ Jesus. This help to bring your thoughts under subjection to the Word of ASCAT, which does not permit any evil, for a change of mindset. This can only happen when a man deliberately decides to give his life to ASCAT-man. The “give” I mean rightly imply receive.

ASCAT concern has not changed, His concern with the heart of man, which regulates thoughts, controls attitude and reveals character. ASCAT wants a man in his all to reveal Him in full, by so doing, man only needs to focus completely on His love.

If your heart fails, your whole system fails. And one of the weapons the Accuser is using in destroying people’s immune system is a bad relationship that troubles and hurt the heart, it almost ruined my life, the more I tried, the more I have my peace shortened and was dying but never giving up. I only start enjoying life when I deliberation chosen to let go and this act brought fresh life to my relationship with ASCAT. If you focus on your relationship, you will certainly get hurt, but on ASCAT’s love, your relationship cannot hurt you but serves you right.

Man of ASCAT guides your heart! Guide your heart against contamination by lust and loneliness, bigotry and arrogance, everything in between. The Accuser may even imprison you in good deeds done for evil motives. Only you can mount the guard to guide your heart because no man can discern your motives and intentions. If Samson has guided his heart, Delilah would not have weakened him. Had Samson guided his heart with the breastplate of righteousness that Paul talked about, he would have continued to be productive in the weariness of his life, Samson “told her his heart” (Judges 16: 17). Samson’s heart became accessible because he did not guide it and as a result, he fell into lust and loneliness, which is one of the major challenges so many young ministers are facing. Mine, I was able to go through this period by focusing on His love for me, you can just do it on your own. It is not the issue of being good or trying to live like a Christian, it simply a thing of focus…and as you focus on Jesus, you have your mindset renewed not to have straying thoughts. If you cannot give this time to ASCAT, you must certainly look for someone to give it to and it will never make sense to you to give it to someone of the same s*x. Watch it!

Many men have given their heart to people, to careers, and ideals (not an ASCAT idea). They were shocked like me when these persons or things betray their heartfelt investment. Always reserve the deepest and innermost portion of your heart and trust for ASCAT. To go beyond borders on idolatry and will produce a pagans reward of failure.

ASCAT wants your heart for Himself. It was the basis of your original union with Him. ASCAT did not appeal to your intellect, because this reality will never make sense, it will only make faith.

The reason why you should focus on ASCAT’s love is that He will give you Divine peace, which is one of the greatest security systems you can use to guide your heart. In addition, this peace can only be born out of prayers when you intimately talk to Him and listens, and when He talks to you, you listen and act by His Word. When you focus your all too loving ASCAT, you are simply depending on His character.

There is a realm of faith that supersedes believing and that is the realm of knowing and ASCAT want us t0o know Him, not to just limit ourselves to believing because He is real, much more real than we are real to ourselves.

You need to know and key into the reality of which I am right writing this; when you believe with your heart, and the process begins. Finally, your faith graduates through life’s experiences into confidence called knowing. Satan wants to stop the process because he knows that the people who know their ASCAT will be strong and they will do mighty exploits! Guide your heart because there may be Samson in you that the enemy wants to destroy.
