GREED

Greed is what are leading people to think Godliness is a means of gain (1 Timothy 6: 5), not knowing that Godliness with contentment is great gain. The Evil One is feeding on the contents of the heart of man and that is why the heart has now become highly deceitful and desperately wicked. We must withdraw ourselves from the mindset of greed; else soon we will turn the house of ASCAT into a den of thieves, instead of a house of prayers (Matthew 21: 13). Greed is becoming our major drive in our today’s churches, no matter how much we try hard to mask and paint it not to look like greed, the fruit is becoming very clear in the lives of the majority of our men of ASCAT and our fanatic Christians, who can die for nothing all in the name of loyalty to the systemic norm. ASCAT is not happy with what is happening in our churches today, because of the high level of greed.

Luke 11: 39, 40

Then the Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees make the outside of the cup and dish clean, but your inward part is full of greed and wickedness. Foolish one! Did not He who made the outside make the inside also?

We can never hide our greedy intention from ASCAT, for nothing can be hidden from His light and that is why the folly of those who are not true will be made known to all men. It is greed that will give birth to greediness and you will see men defrauding each other in the name of ASCAT and be claiming that men are robbing ASCAT when knowledgeable men do not carry out their greedy intent. Why have the robbers become the saints and the innocent ones now turned robbers by the true robbers?

We must not be afraid to make known ASCAT’s perfect truth; this is the only thing that can set us free.

Ephesians 4: 19

Who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

It is so pathetic that our generation does not know what moral darkness means. This implies past feelings have been hardened by years of sin and debauchery. The true life in Christ must be the one of stripping off the dirty clothes of sinful past and putting on the snowy white robes of Christ’s righteousness. Greed is the major reason why men are now celebrating one of the sixth things that ASCAT abhors and that is simply a lying tongue (Proverb 6: 17). If you hate a man for the truth, you are very wicked and I tell you the truth, you are more evil-minded than Cain because the mind of evil called the Evil One is richly dwelling in you. Any greedy man has not learned Christ. When greed is mixed with faith, we will have the product called ASCATly robbers who are using the Bible as a weapon of deception, making ASCAT seem to be fraudulent in His words, by misinterpreting to interpret the Word of ASCAT to suit their selfish interest. It will interest you to know that we now live in a generation of thieves with the coats of priests, carrying Bibles and claiming to be the preachers of the Word of ASCAT, but only using the Word of ASCAT as an instrument of extortion to defraud men.

1 Timothy 6: 10

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Money in and of itself is not a problem, but the love of it. So don’t misunderstand me to get things twisted. Love of money is a root, though it is not that money is evil. By this I mean the love of money can drive a person into all types of evil. We are in a generation where the majority of Christians are blinded because of what they have subscribed to and this has dragged them into greed and materialism to such a degree that they break away from the true faith.

A life focused on material things will produce only pain and sorrows, but Godliness with contentment is great gain.
