Gabriel hit the steering wheel in frustration as he drove. He had been this close to running the bastard over and had missed. He should’ve run him over before letting him get halfway to his car. He looked in his rear-view mirror expecting the police to be after him but there was no one. He was half tempted to go back and finish the job but that would be foolish. It was stupid of him to have tried to run him over in front of the police station in the first place but he’d seen an opening and he’d taken it. He took a left turn and got to his destination. The same dingy bar he’d taken José from. How ironic! He got out of the car and went into the bar.
