Entering his father’s study for the first time in so long, Luca was reminded of the times he used to stand in front of his father’s massive oak desk as a child, scared and shaking in his pants. He had been a skinny kid with lots of issues. A sensitive child and his father had seen it as a weakness and had made it his mission to eradicate said weakness, mostly through intimidation and punishments.
