Chapter 10

"I'm expecting a pup. It is a tear of joy!" she feigned sobbing. Even amidst her sobbing, there was a fake wrought up of nervousness. Ryker stood, motionless, in utter disbelief and excitement, trying to decrypt her statement through his cell brain, making sure he heard her right. Absolutely, He heard her precisely but was just dumb to clarify the meaning of her statement. He wanted to speak but the words all struck down his throat. He was dumbfounded to ever be able to coordinate his vocal cord or produce any statement. In his mind, several questions lingered and one of them was 'will I be a proud father soon?' But he knew the sure thing ' being a father isn't as easy as everyone thinks but it is like receiving a euphoric gift' he could only pump up in happiness, together with mirthful laughter. "Are you kidding?" The question came onto his mind and out of his mouth without an inkling, as his face flushed with delight. "Are you saying I'm lying?" She was downhearted by his question. She thought he doubted her and this thumped her heart as fear enveloped her body, constraining the air coming out through her nostrils and she had a breath seizure. If Ryker was nearer an inch, he could have heard the fast beating of her pulse. She pouted her face childishly after her breath went normal, pretending to be annoyed at his question, trying to distract him from noticing her nervousness. Sadness wavered her mind as she had no clue what she wanna do to continue fooling him with the news of the fake pregnancy, but she needed something to make him leave and she wouldn't go with him to his room either. She wanted time for her to take Mora away and kill her. . "How could I say that? I'm thrilled. Can't you get it? Come, let's go inform the others in the pack," he grabbed her hand with his pulse racing excitedly and he could feel he was on cloud nine. He was about to lead her away when they heard some sound coming from her room. "What sound is that? Is someone in your room?" He asked, trying to peep in. Terror seized her as she was paralyzed with shock, she couldn't command herself to move. She knew it was coming from Mora who must be on the brink of death. She stood motionless, blocking the door path so Ryker couldn't dash in without her awareness. "No, who can dare enter my room?... It might be some living creature," she stuttered, feigning a smile, shrugging to hide her uneasiness so she would look so plausible. "It might be Feather, I will get the guards to check your room. Let's go break the news of my new pup," he said and grabbed her hand again but Mina refused her hand from his grip. Feather was the pack cat owned by Mara. She had seen it when it went strand some months ago before Mjna arrived and had brought it into the pack, tending to it. It was a white cat and was always seen happily playing around. "Ryker, no, let's surprise them during dinner," she pleaded. "Yeah! That will be incredible," he nodded sweetly and he agreed immediately. "I need to rest, your pup is gonna take after me," she jovially said, rubbing her tummy. "Why you? Come let go to my room to finish our business," he beckoned her, then grabbed her hands and dragged her along with him. ** It has been two hours yet Ryker was demanding another round of s*x. They had already gone four rounds amidst cheerfulness. It was visible he was excited about his incoming pup and wanted to pop more cums into him or her to increase his or her chance. Mina's mind was drafted far, pondering over Mora's body who she knew might be motionless by the time. It wasn't that she feared that if they saw her in her room, they could pin her death on her but she couldn't take any chances. She preferred her body not to be found near her. She wanted to use it to her advantage over Mara. Ryker drafted to sleep tiredly after the fifth round and her mind heaved a relieved sigh. In fact, she was happy he slept. She walked to his study and picked out a piece of paper and a pen. She penned down a message to him, walked back, and dressed up. She had a long day but she had just half an hour to accomplish her quest. She walked out of his room to her room. Mora had stopped any form of noise and she already concluded that she was gone. She closed her room's door, latched it, and threw the key into the side drawer. Walking to the wardrobe where the big sack which Mora had bought for Mara's murder purpose was on her request, she picked the sack up She opened the wardrobe where Mora was and she saw her laxing, crunching in a side, her head was down on her knees while she sat motionlessly. She lifted her and carried her into the sack, smirking wickedly. She knew she didn't intend to kill her, She of course killed herself. How could she insist on exposing her? Or was it a sin to bring her with her to the pack? Honestly, if it was in the human world, she could have let her live. After all, she had caught her in bed with her numerous boyfriends and she had let it go for friendship's sake and she knew her sickness could drain her if it started. But here, she was new and had a chance to be Luna and even an Alpha if she gets back her father's pack. She dragged her toward the window, trying to catch her breath. She had practiced what she was about to do the first day she arrived in the pack. The first night she shifted, she had been excited and had climbed through the windows before shifting. It was hard at first, but with constant practice, she excelled. She could now jump on high either in her human form or wolf. Tying a long rope around the sack, enrage seared her heart. She leveled her down, trying not to make any noise. Mora landed on the ground out of the pack house and she jumped through the window in her wolf, holding the branches of a tree outside of her room. She shifted back to her human immediately, her feet touching the ground. Dragging her through the darkest part of the pack fence, she puffed out air tiredly. She pulled her out of the sack and laid her down, unconscious. She shifted back to her wolf and plucked her heart and Mora jerked and closed her eyes as she went wintered. She knew that she had died, her corpse was motionless and stiff. Her quest had been completed, she knew she needed to return to her room but she decided to throw the sack away far from the pack so it couldn't be traced. She jumped over the large wall shedding the pack from the outer world and threw it away, the far her hand could go. She returned to her room like a dog with two tails, exhilarated, waiting for the time to have her long day. The moment she tried to think of a further plan, a creaking sound by the door met her ears "Dinner is ready," a voice said in a whisper by the door, she knew it was one of the pack's maids. She hurried to the window, closed it, and walked over to the mirror to check herself for anything that could give a hint. She walked into the dining room two minutes later and all eyes were fixed on her. Her eyes roamed the pack members as if she was searching for someone. Mara was about to declare the meal open when she screamed. "Where is my Omega? Where is Mora!"
