"I'm sorry for everything that happened at the party Lord Victor, it wasn't intended" lady Rachel pleaded. "Why would you take my wife to hangout with those mean hags?" Victor asked angrily. "It wasn't my intention my lord, all I wanted was to introduce her to other nobel folks, I never knew Rebecca would be so venomous" lady Rachel said, her heads bowed in disappointment. "It's okay Lady Rebecca, I do not hold it against you, I'll deal with the countess properly next time" Victor assured, lady Rachel smiled politely. "Besides, where is your husband?" Victor asked. "Oh he's in the study, please do follow me" Lady Rachel said swiftly. "Rosalind you stay here and have tea with lady Rachel, I would go and have a word with Sir Ernesto" Victor said as he followed closely behind lady Rachel, Rosalind nodded and sat on one of the fancy chairs in the empty Hall. "What a party!" Rosalind thought to herself, "I'm glad it's finally over" she continued as she played with an ornament she found on the table in front of her. "Sorry I had to leave you for a bit" Lady Rachel smiled as she walked into the large Hall "It's okay, after all you didn't take so much time" Rosalind smiled back and the two women made their way out of the hall. "You wanted to see me Sir Ernesto, what's going on?" Victor asked. "Lord Victor, I really need your help" Sir Ernesto said. "Ok what's it?" Victor asked. "Lord Victor, I want to be the king of Spain" Sir Ernesto declared. Victor widened his eyes in terror. "What! Sir Ernesto are you crazy?!" Victor exclaimed in horror, lord Ernesto smiled at Victor which horrified Victor the more. "I am very sane my friend, just that my cousin has not been doing a good job, I believe I can do better for our dear country" Sir Ernesto answered proudly, Victor was too stunned to utter a word, he just stared blankly at Sir Ernesto. "I'm already secretly rallying supporters for my cause and I decided to let you in on it" Lord Ernesto said. "So why are you telling me this Sir Ernesto?" Victor asked. "You are a very noble and ambitious man Lord Victor, your family is one of the most powerful if not the most powerful household in Spain so your support is needed, and in return, you get to own half of Spain when I become king" Lord Ernesto explain. Victor smirked, "interesting, very interesting" he smiled. "Sir Ernesto, I'm indeed a very ambitious man, but on this, I'll pass, I do not feel I should lend my support to a rebellion of selfish interest, besides, the king is ruling the nation fine and I wouldn't upset such balance, I'm sorry Sir Ernesto, I can't help you" Victor said, Sir Ernesto began to swell in anger, he tried supressing his urge to shout out his frustration. "You'll regret this Lord Victor, I promise you" he managed to say. "I'll take my chances Sir, I'm done here, I'm leaving" Victor said as he stood up and majestically walked out of the study, Sir Ernesto banged the table hard with his fist as Victor left the room. Victor walked out of the house and entered into the tea garden where he saw Rosalind and Lady Rachel playing chess over a cup of tea. He walked straight to the women, when Lady Rachel saw him, she smiled and stood up. "Oh you are back already" the lady smiled, "your wife is an excellent chess player, I really look forward to playing with her some other time" she continued as she smiled at Rosalind, who in turn, gave her a smile. "Thank you Lady Rachel" Victor said bluntly. "Rosalind, it's time to go" Victor continued. "One more thing my lady, I just hope you aren't part of the madness going on" Victor said as he stormed out of the garden and Rosalind followed closely behind him. The ride home was a long and quiet one, Victor's mood seemed very sour and Rosalind felt he had something on his mind, though she never wanted to care about what it was, she couldn't help it. She felt it was a bad idea to bring up the discussion in the carriage, so she simply waited till they got home. Victor just the carriage and went into the house, leaving Rosalind outside, "Please get us two bowls of hot soup and a bowl of almonds" Rosalind ordered, the servant bowed and left her side quickly and she began to make her way to the bedroom. She opened it and she saw Victor sitting in front of the window, she took a deep breath and walked into the room and towards Victor, she sat on the chair next to him and scanned his pale face. "Want to talk about it?" she asked, Victor looked at her and slowly looked away. "Don't worry, your words are safe with me, I could offer a solution or advice, trust me" Rosalind continued gently, Victor once again looked at her, her eyes were so convincing, he couldn't help but let his guard down, he sighed softly, and turned fully to face her. "The discussion with Sir Ernesto wasn't pleasant" Victor said. "Why, what happened?" Rosalind asked curiously. "He wants to overthrow the current king and take the thrown, he offered me half of Spain and immense power, he sough my alliance and I didn't comply" Victor continued, Rosalind gasped. "This is a red flag Victor, we need to prepare ourselves and our families for what is coming, I fear our lives will be at jeopardy for merely knowing about this rebellion" Rosalind said, "and you are close to the king right?" She asked. "Yes, but this is his family, you don't expect him to believe me without evidence" Victor protested. "It's alright, you don't need to tell him everything directly, just tell the king about a rumour you heard while on honeymoon and advice him to be careful of everyone close to him, including yourself, advice him to tighten his security in the palace and watch out for any form of clues, he should also not share sensitive developments with anyone in court, that includes you or amongst his family members, I'll request an audience with the queen dowager once we get back to Madrid" Rosalind stated, Victor was impressed, a proud look shone on his face as he looked at his wife. "Remember, you would have to write it in a letter to him, even my request to see the dowager, one of the servants of the this mansion can give it to a family member of their's to hand it over to the king, this is to avoid any suspicion of any kind, remember to put a disclaimer, he needs not to share it with anyone" Rosalind concluded. "I must say, you really have answers to a lot of things" Victor smiled. "Thank you" Rosalind said shyly, just then, a knock was heard at the door, "Come in" Rosalind ordered, the servant had brought all she requested for and placed them on the table in front of them, Victor smiled warmly. "Let's eat up and give some orientation in the mansion, especially to those in charge of securing the mansion, I believe we would be fine for the next two days" Rosalind said warmly, the two began to dig in and chat away about almost anything. The evening was a cool and bright one, Victor had given instructions in the mansion alongside Rosalind, when the whole exercise was over, the pair decided to seat out under the beautiful moonlight, they both began to tell stories and laugh excitedly at each episode of their lives they talked about. "So you destroyed the Easter pile? You are so mischievous" Victor laughed. "I sure did, I was trouble as a little girl" Rosalind laughed too. They both laughed again. "So tell me, how was your childhood like?" Rosalind asked. Victor's expression changed, his head sunk and he began to pick his fingers. Rosalind became uncomfortable and felt guilty too. "It's ok if you don't want to talk about it" Rosalind muttered. "No, I'm going to tell you about it" Victor said softly. "I lost my father when I was just five, he was poisoned, when he died, my mother became distant and cold, I became the head of the Hernandez household at the age of five, never had time to play or be a normal child. There was a time my room was set on fire by some assains, my back got burned, the scars are still there, I never really had a childhood" Victor said as he hung his head down. Rosalind's heart sank, she couldn't help but look into his sad eyes, she could see through the pain in his eyes, she leaned closer to him and took his hand. "I understand how you feel, I lost my only brother two years ago to poisoning too" Rosalind said sadly. "I'm so sorry about that" Victor said solemnly. "It's alright, we could do all the fun things you wish to do on your spare time" Rosalind smiled. "Don't you think I'm a little too old for all that?" Victor scuffed. "Oh no Victor, you are still in your prime, so you can do anything" Rosalind laughed. "Really?" Victor asked. "Yes dear, really" Rosalind assured as she patted him on the back, Victor smiled. "Alright, I guess I'll just take a shower" Victor said as he stood up. "But I don't want you telling anyone about what we discussed" Victor warned. "I promise" Rosalind smiled. Victor walked off into the house while Rosalind remained outside, she thought of all their discussions and smiled softly, "he's quite a softy despite his tough and annoying exterior" she said to herself. Victor was sitting in front of the large room table reading a book, just as he flipped a page, Rosalind walked in. Victor paid no attention to her entrance, his head was still buried in the book he was reading. "Have you had a shower?" Rosalind asked. "Yes of course" Victor answered, his eyes still fixed on the book. Rosalind didn't say a word and soon, she hopped into the bathroom to take a shower. While she was still in, Victor decided it was time to get some sleep, he closed the book and headed straight to the bed. He raised the duvet and moved into it. Just as he was about to tuck himself in properly, Rosalind came out of the bathroom. She was already in her nightdress, Victor turned, his eyes couldn't help but wander around her body. Her nightdress was transparent, he could see every curve from her slim waist to her wide hips, her legs were straight and alluring, bright pink n*****s protruded on the night dress and her beautiful black hair rested on her shoulders. Victor couldn't control his eyes, he noticed once or twice that she was beautiful, but never knew she was a sexy vixen. "You wanted to say something?" Rosalind asked, breaking his daze. "Uhmmm nothing" Victor stammered. "Okay then, goodnight" Rosalind said softly as she walked towards the bed and went into it. Victor turned and continued to stare at her, just as Rosalind turned to adjust herself properly, their eyes met. They both stared at each other for a while, their hearts pounding. Suddenly, Victor grabbed Rosalind's waist and drew her close to him. Before she could utter a word, he kissed her, she tried to resist but couldn't help herself, it was a deep, warm kiss. Slowly he kissed her neck, Rosalind bit her as he hungrily laped every skin on her slender neck. He continued till he got to her chest and slowly reached for her n****e. Rosalind let out a moan as she shut her eyes in ecstacy, suddenly, Victor stopped as raised his face her's. "I want to make love to you" Victor whispered softly into her ears. Her eyes widened, everything was happening so fast, she wasn't sure if she really loved him yet, but her body was not reject, she was already feeling her juice flow from in between her legs. And Victor, he was too good from the way he looked at her, to the way he handled her body, made her want more, she was still panting slowly, not giving an answer. Victor smirked and slowly went down, he grabbed her thighs and spread them apart, slowly but steadily, he began to eat her up. She moaned as she grabbed his hair. "Victor I want you" she whispered, he stopped and looked at her. "Are you sure?" Victor asked. "Yes, I am certain" she whispered again, Victor smiled, this time, he pulled his short off. "You won't forget tonight in a hurry, I promise, just relax and let me make you feel special" Victor whispered, he spread her legs once again and went in, Rosalind moaned as she grabbed him tight, rhythmically their bodies moved, their eyes locked, their voices mingled into the night as the crickets chirped from outside.
