Chapter Nine-Missing

1777 Words
The next morning, Becs woke with a moan. She felt the familiar lips sucking and nipping her folds. She opened her eyes to find Killian seated between her thighs again, she closed her eyes and laid her head back down. When Killian added his fingers to the assault on her p***y, she screamed out in ecstasy as her organism hit her. Killian crawled up her body, kissing it on his way up. Until he got to her face and kissed her passionately, she could taste herself. She moaned into his mouth as he pushed himself inside her, he rested his forehead on hers for a moment to let her adjust. She was still tight and he didn't want to hurt her, he finally started to move when she dug her heels into his a**. “Yes, Killian. Faster ple–” Before she could finish, he pulled out and put her on her hands and knees before entering her again. Becs felt like she was going to burst, Killain had her feeling every thrust, and every inch of his c**k as he f***ed her hard and fast. He reached under her and started to rub her c**t in circles, Becs finally came with a muffled moan. Killian stilled and groaned a few minutes later, he thrust a few more times before pulling out and laying down beside her. “Good morning to you too,” Becs laughed, laying her head on his chest. “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to wake you up like that,” he smiled down at her. He was about to dip down to peck her lips, but she hurriedly jumped out of bed. “Where do you think you're going?” he asked with his rare smile. “I need to meet Ethan for training, and if I let you distract me again I’m going to be late,” she said as she walked into the bathroom. “See the thing is that if I showered with you, we would be helping the environment because we’d be using less water,” Killian said as he wrapped his arms around Becs’s waist. The next thing she knew they were in the shower together, going for round two. She thought about Ethan being mad but it only lasted a moment before Killian pushed inside her. While Becs and Killian were enjoying their morning activities, they were unaware of Ethan's k********g and that there was a traitor among them. Ethan woke up with a pounding headache. The Gamma groaned, his vision blurred. Stone walls surrounded him, a cell. A cold realization hit instantly, captured. He sat up, silver bars surrounded him. His stomach dropped. Silver. Designed specifically to weaken wolves, the smell of damp earth filled the air. Somewhere far away water dripped steadily. Ethan’s attention was drew back to the bars, a shadow moved. Someone approached, the traitor. Sill hidden beneath a dark cloak. Ethan’s eyes narrowed. “You’re so dead.” The figure laughed. “No” “Killian will find me” “Eventually” The traitor stopped outside the cell. Moonlight illuminated part of their face. Not enough to identify them, only enough to reveal a smile. “Why am I still alive?” The figure folded their arms. “”Becasue, you’re still useful” Ethan growled. “The Rogue King needs time.” The name made Ethan tense. “The Kingdoms are uniting, we cannot allow that.” Ethan's eyes widened. We, not him, we. The traitor had just confirmed their alliance. “You helped him” THe figure smiled. “Seventeen years ago, at the Nightshade kingdom. You helped him,” Ethan put the missing pieces together, no one could figure out how the Rogue King and his army got in. Until now. “We opened the door.” Rage exploded inside Ethan at the admittance. –Blackwood Pack– Becs made her way down to the training grounds, but as soon as she walked through the gates something felt off. The field was empty, Becs stopped walking, Ethan was always here first. Always. Usually waiting to insult her lack of enthusiasm for early mornings. A knot formed in her stomach, Luna stirred uneasily. Something’s wrong Becs reached out to Ethan through her newly formed mindlink. But she got nothing, no answer, no response. Her concern deepened, then she reached out to Killian. His response came instantly. Miss me already? He replied laughing, and despite everything she smiled, a little. Training field. Now. The reading vanished immediately. Whats wrong? Ethan isn’t here Killian and Lucas were there in under a minute, Killian frowned. “Ethan never misses training. Never.” Lucas agreed, nodding his head. The three of them attempted to contact him through mindlink. No one could get through. Killian’s expression darkened, then he tried using his Alpha authority to force open the connection. Still nothing, this whole thing the silence, the not answering felt wrong. So wrong. The search began immediately, they didn’t want to cause a panic until they knew for sure what was going on. So the three split up and searched different areas of the territory, Killian headed towards the eastern training grounds, Lucas searched the barracks. Becs took the fortress moving through the hall, checking every place she thought Ethan could be. Her unease was growing with each passing second. Near one of the lower hallways she nearly collided with Ava, the healer blinked. “Becs?” “Have you seen Ethan?” Ava frowned “I did last night” “Where?” “The archives.” The answer hit both of them instantly, the archives. Becs’s eyes widened. “Ava” She nodded and they both turned and ran toward the basement, mindlinking Killian and Lucas simultaneously. Archives. Now. Meet us there. Minutes later the basement archives door stood open, already a bad sign. Very bad. Dust covered the floor, shelves lined the room and Ancient records sat untouched. As they were about to enter the room, a small slip of paper caught Becs’s attention. Just as she was picking it up Killan and Lucas arrived, they looked over her shoulder reading the message together. Only six words, ‘there is a traitor among us.’ Silence filled the hallway, a chill ran up Becs’s spine. Because Ethan wouldn’t leave a message like that unless he was certain. Killian stared at the words, Lucas looked ready to tear apart the entire fortress stone by stone, and Becs felt cold. Ethan wasn’t just the Gamma, Killian, Lucas and Ethan have been friends since they were pups. Three days passed, three miserable days. The search parties found nothing. No scent, no blood, no tracks, nothing. It was as if Ethan had vanished from existence, the Gamma’s disappearance hung over Blackwood like a storm cloud. The warriors grew restless, the pack whispered, and Killian barely slept. Becs often found him studying maps late into the night, trying to solve a mystery with no clues. Trying to find one of his closest friends, trying to stop the coming war. –Miles away from the pack– Unknown to Blackwood, Ethan was still alive. When consciousness finally returned, he found himself alone, cold, hungry and disoriented. The Gamma groaned and sat up, forest surrounding him. Massive pines stretched toward the sky, the scent of unfamiliar territory filled the air. “What the hell..” His head pounded, the last thing he remembered was finding the note. Then… nothing. A complete blank, had it been hours? Days? His wolf growled uneasily. Something is very wrong Ethan agreed, very wrong. He staggered to his feet, his clothes were dirty and his body bruised. But otherwise he seemed unharmed, which somehow felt worse. Because if someone took him, why let him live? The question followed him as he wandered through the forest, hour after hour until eventually he found a road. A passing truck driver offered him a ride, two rides later, Ethan finally recognized familiar landmarks. Relief flooded him, the moment he crossed into pack land, he reached out mentally. Killian Silence, then Alpha’s voice practically exploded inside his head. ETHAN?! Ethan winced Missed you too man. The response that followed was not fit for polite company. Within an hour Killian, Lucas, and nearly twenty warriors met Ethan at the edge of the territory. Lucas walked up to Ethan and punched him in the shoulder, hard. Ethan blinked. “What was that for?” Lucas looked furious. “We thought you were dead.” Fair. Ethan accepted that, Killian pulled him into a brief embrace. The Alpha looked relieved, genuinely relieved. Then his expression hardened. “What happened?” Ethan frowned. “I don’t know.” Silence, and Lucas blinked. “What?” The Gamma rubbed his temple. “I remember finding the note.” Another pause. Then– “Nothing” Killian’s eyes narrowed. “What do you mean nothing?” “I mean nothing” Frustration filled Ethan’s voice. “The next thing I knew, I woke up in a forest hundreds of miles away.” The three wolves exchanged worried looks. Because something wasn’t right, something felt wrong. They took Ethan back to the fortress and straight to the infirmary. Ava conducted every examination she could think of, the healer looked increasingly concerned. Eventually she finally spoke. “I think his memory was taken” The room fell silent, Ethan frowned, “Excuse me?” Ava pointed toward several different books “Dark magic.” Killian immediately stiffened, the words alone were enough. Ava continued. “There are spells that can suppress memories.” Her expression hardened. “Espically if the victim is unconscious.” Lucas swore, Ethan leaned back in his chair. “So somebody kidn*pped me and wiped my memory?” “Yes and yes.” “Then dropped me in a forest.” “Yes” The Gamma frowned. “Well that’s rude.” Nobody laughed. Well, except Becs. –Shadowlands– The Rogue King stood on a balcony overlooking thousands of soldiers, rogues, mercenaries and dark creatures. An army, the hooded traitor stepped beside him. “He’s made is back” The Rogue King smiled. “Good.” “The traitor frowned “You wanted him alive?” “Of course.” The King’s crimson eye glowed. “The spell worked.” The traitor nodded slowly. “He remebers nothing.” The Rogue King’s smile widened. Perfect. Because Ethan didn’t realize one thing. The dark magic binding him remained, until the King gave the command. The Gamma would have no choice but to obey. the war was coming.
