It’s been two weeks since Queen Afi and Drew was seized and locked up in the dungeon. Princess Ada has severally pleaded on her mother’s behalf to his brother not to carry out the execution. This perhaps has been the reason why the execution is being delayed until the king finally makes up his mind on what to do with his mother.
If the king happens to pardon his mother, Drew will never be on the list of those the king will ever pardon, whether now or in the future. He has vowed to put Drew to the sword on another full moon.
Princess Ada was leaning on the wooden door of the dungeon where her mother is precisely locked up. “Look who has decided to show up!” the queen mutters on seeing Ada. “You and your brother have left me here to die.”
