The day dawned crisp and clear. The light of dawn seeped into Ada’s chamber. She rubbed her bleary eyes and walked to the window. There was a pearly glow in the sky. Immediately seeing the sky, she remembered what happened last night. She thought it was a dream. But not quite long she saw her dagger on the table stained in her blood.
She quickly moved to the table as she slowly picked up the dagger. “It really happened.”
She started looking around as if she was looking for someone but there was no one there. She was all alone. It’s now clear to her it was a reality. She met with the Egyptian god of the afterlife. “Why me?” she whispered to herself.
