The past few weeks, I've been spending my time getting to know Emme. What he likes, dislikes, the kind of food she eats, what she watches on TV, etc. We finished our poetry project on Romeo and Juliet and both got an A on it.
We celebrated after school by going to Mel's Diner with her friend Chloe, as we ate burgers and fries.
I had never much noticed Emme before. She'd filled out a little, just enough to give her curves and a fuller bust. She'd let her hair go wavy again, falling in relaxed curls past her shoulders. I always felt my mouth go dry when I see her. That's how much she affects me.
