Liam POV
She came over to me and said ''Why?''
''Why not?'' I snapped.
''I mean it's late at night and we have school tomorrow.''
''So you don't want to come.''
''No, I'm sorry I don't want to.''
''Fine, have it your way,'' I smirked sarcastically.
She rolled her eyes. ''Whatever good night.''
''Night.''
----
The next morning I was up and early and did my morning run, as usual. Since I was suspended for the week, I took the time and need to exercise and catch up with Game of Thrones. As hours flew, I caught myself taking mini-naps here and there until it was three.
The doorbell ring and I got up to see who it was. I heard voices behind the door; a girl and a boy fighting over about something.
''I'm not doing that Max.''
I recognized that voice.
Emilia.
I mean... Emme.
''Please! I think he's a nice a guy!'' Max whined.
I opened the door and the two stop fighting and grew a fake smile.
''What are you doing here?'' I asked.
''Can you fix my bike? Please? Emme can't fix it properly.''
''MAX!'' She yelled.
''What? It's the truth!''
I chortled. ''Sure bud, I'll fix your bike.''
Max went down the stairs as Emme placed her hands on her hip. I grabbed his tools and fixed his rims, chain, and pedals.
''Here you go, give it a shot,'' I said to him. He jumps up and down and places his helmet and went to his bike. He placed his feet on the pedals and begin to ride around in circles in the parking lot.
''Thanks, Liam!'' He said, riding away from me and Emme.
''You're welcome!'' I shout back.
I turned to Emme who looked annoyed when I gave her a smirk.
''You owe me.''
''I don't owe you anything.''
''Well, technical you do. You left me hanging yesterday, you should make up for it.''
''By what? Swimming with you.''
''Not just swimming but yeah I guess.''
''Okay, well, there's a party going on that everyone goes to at my school.''
''That football Friday thing? Not interested.''
''Then I guess your offer is off the table.''
Every violated phrase was like gasoline to it, my fists began to clench and my jaw rooted. I hate people, I hate being around with people, why did she have to shot me that offer? I didn't want to be around with anyone except her.
She drove me insane and I only knew her for a week.
''Last call or I'm not owing you nothing-''
''-- Fine, I'll go. Under one condition.''
''What?''
''You have to hang out with me. Deal?''
''Deal.''

Emilia POV
''EMILIA YOU DID NOT!'' Chloe shrieked, jumping on my bed when I told her that I asked Liam out. Technically.
''It's not like that. Besides he fixed Max's bike, it's not even a big--''
''Deal? Emme, you asked the hot-bad-boy-next-door out and you think it's not a big deal?''
I shrugged. ''No I don't see it.''
''Lies, Lies, lies. I'm telling you. He's onto you.''
''No he isn't Chloe, he's not into me.''
''Oh yeah then why did he fix Max's bike?''
''Because he was being nice.''
''No because he has interests in you since day one.''
''I don't know what you're talking about,'' I gathered my clothes and head to the shower before heading to the football game.
I reminisced those words that Chloe said to me. He's onto me.
I lied to her because deep down I know it's true. Liam is onto me for a reason but I still don't know why. I'm not sure what I got myself into but I know damn well he's enjoying every part of it.
Liam is f*****g handsome, which I can agree to that. He was handsome from the depth of his eyes to the gentle expressions of his voice. He was handsome from his generous opinions to the touch of his hand upon my own.
After the shower and putting on my clothes, I head outside with Chloe to her car and drove back to school for the game. It was the first game of the season and we were against Destin High School.
We sat on the third section on the far left side and watch the football players lining up for the national anthem.
''Is this seat taken?'' Liam asked.
Liam glanced over, the corners of his lips fighting a smile, his eyebrows slightly raised. I looked away before that mischievous look of his spread.
''I thought football wasn't your thing,'' I said to him.
He walked down over a step to me and places his hand across his hand as the national anthem begins.
''Are you going to answer my question?'' I asked.
''Football isn't my thing, I came here to see you.''
