I stood on the grass, the wind making me shiver as tears dropped on my cheeks. I was beyond frustrated, confused and just angry. Nothing was making sense the past ten hours and I felt tired and wronged. It didn't make sense that the vampires would behave in such a disrespectful manner and that made me a bit confused. I was frustrated and angry due to the mere reason that I just missed my own ceremony. Adrian and I performed such an important ceremony and yet I wasn't emotionally present as it became a function I wanted to quickly be done with instead of one I should have held dear. I wiped the tears from my eyes, took a long breath and folded my arms in front of me as I calmed my self down.
