-“For the last time people, neither am I leaving without my creatures nor am I letting you justify your heinous act like this. I’m leaving with the creatures and there is nothing you can do about it” I said to the crowd that had gathered.
Adrian attempted to make me understand the reason and the situation they were in but all I wanted was to see just one look of remorse on their faces but there was none. Everybody spoke and felt as though what they had done was right.
“We can’t let you do that. Our survival depends on these creatures” an old lady sat at the front of the meeting room explained.
I nodded slowly, side-stepping a young boy and making my way towards the front. Adrian watched me closely, ready for any surprise attacks I might pull.
“We didn’t kill the creatures, in fact, we
