Maikel looked back at Joanna, but this time the gaze was gentler.
"After coming home from vacation I will ask permission from your father and mother to marry you" replied Maikel making Joanna smile happily.
Joanna's hand lifted showing her little finger, making Maikel stare questioningly.
"Promise?" Joanna asked by sticking her pinky finger at Maikel.
Maikel's chuckle was heard to make Joanna confused.
"When did your lover not keep his promise, Joanna?!" If you think about it, Maikel always keeps his promises but for some reason this time he wants Maikel to promise him again.
"I know, but you have to keep a promise" Joanna said and put her pinky finger back at Maikel.
Maikel finally relented and wrapped his pinky finger around Joanna.
