**CHAPTER 3**

~Paiges POV~

I watched him walk away from me with Stacy on his arms, I couldn't believe the soon to be alpha was my mate. I was happy but sad all at once I know he will only reject me and choose another she-wolf.

Walking to my class I sit in my usual spot in the back next to the window. I kept my gaze outside until I heard my name being called.

"Paige" the teacher called out

"here sir" turning I noticed everyone was looking at me funny.

"I need you to move over next to Brayden, you will be doing an assessment together for the next few weeks.

I looked stunned for a moment but not wanting to anger the teacher I pick up my stuff and move to the desk next to Brayden.

My cheeks flush as I hear his voice next to me.

"hello little wolf" Brayden c**k a smile at me and reached out to shake my hand.

I hesitate for a moment looking up into his eyes then back to his hand, I reach out and take his hand and the sparks shoot up my arm and shiver down my back to my toes, gasping I look back into his eyes that have changed from green to black before he pulled his hand back and under the table.

Was I the only one who felt that?

Brayden

The moment her small hand touched mine the sparks traveled up my arm and spread through my chest, I know she noticed the change in me but I only pulled away from her and turned my attention back towards the teacher.

I could smell her arousal and it made me want her now, so I clinched my jaw and fisted my hands to keep control of my urges.
