  Dialling, listening and waiting, Mrs. Finnegan presses the mouth piece of the telephone against her left ear in the phone box near at the hospital. She phones the mansion: both Finnegans and Clearwaters. Each mansion merely answered by their maids. No personal voices with the owners responded. Mrs. Finnegan dials once more the last number she pointing at her ledger. She realises the last number she pointing at belongs to Charles Ferguson. The line takes too long to respond, but no response at all she hears. She dials it once more, but still no answer.
