I was pretty shaken up by the whole encounter of Cole’s men and how their plans with me were left to my imagination. And it was not pretty. I got lucky to have escaped but I’m not sure if my luck exceeds another day. It made me wonder how deep Julian and Cole’s rivalry had stemmed.
One thing I know for sure, I was so fuckin’ tired. My back was aching and my legs were practically screaming for me to give up. My feet were too sore, burning more than before. Imminent danger has a way of silencing the pain.
