Curse Alpha Spirit Mate

The pinky

*Third POV*

“Here you are playing around, I never thought I would be the one going around to look for you,”  the voice of the lady said with the small sad smile tugging on her lips. Making the white orb rub itself against her palm, going round and round. 

“Didn't you find your other half here?” this made the orb move up and down as if it could understand what the lady is saying. 

“I guess your mate didn't make it up here with you to the cycle of the afterlife, leaving you alone to be here” the orb stops in the middle of the palm as the lady rubs her thumb over it.

“Oh, is that the reason for the curse” the voice freezes, making her gasp in response as it looks down at the orb with sadness into her eyes. The tear escapes through the left side of its eyes, dripping down at her palm. 

"How did own children suffer and I didn't even know?" 

Making the orb fly up reaching at the cheek of the lady rubbing itself on her cheek as it wipes the tear-off from her face. 

"Are you really wiping my tears away when you themselves felt the pain in every lifetime you don't even remember" the white orb returns to the palm itself, dancing around it along with squeaking in response? As if it's trying to return the smile it saw the moment ago.  

“Don't worry, you weren't able to meet your half, but this time I will be the one to make sure you do. As my other child waiting for you long enough,” the lady smiled slowly lifting her hand up giving a kiss over it. Which only ended up making her palm get brighter and brighter just to disappear the next second."  

"Did he fall asleep once again before the story could get over?" the voice said, stopping the mother. Making her look down at the little boy who was asleep closer to her chest with his eyes closed. 

"I guess" learning down as she kisses the little boy's forehead with a smile over her face. The father gets up on the bed, taking the covers upon himself, leaning forward to give his wife a kiss upon the lips. 

"I'm also curious what happened to the little orb when the moon goddess kissed it? Where did it disappear to?" 

Lying upon the bed, the mother looks at the little boy with loving eyes, running her fingers through its hair gently.  

"Maybe the little orb made it down this realm finally to be with her mate, meeting its other half as I found the other half of mine" the lady smiles softly with a gentle look over her face. 

500 years later~

 “Kai ran as fast as he could, following the red string in his pinky finger, through the heavy rain falling up from the sky. Making it impossible for him to see in front of him due to the rain and the surrounding fog. Another thunders strike-” The voice paused, turning into another page of the black book with the golden border over it. The golden eyes gaze down over the text, expressing changing as he reads.

“-across the sky lighting up the whole forest” hearing a few of the kid's gaps in response hearing the thunder clutching their stuff toy or their partner beside them.

His gaze turns towards a group of kids sitting in front of him looking up at him with the doe eyes. Making a small smile spread across his lips, turning his gaze back to the book he is holding.

“Please just don't give up now, don't let this tread of fate fade away~"

"Kai mumbles the tears that were mixing along with the rain. Feet stomping against the puddle under his feet, in the distance he sees the house not too far away from him” a small smile appears over the lips of the kids as they hold their own hand closer to their chest. 

“The house where the red string was leading him visible to his own eyes, but the next thing he knew it just starts to fade away. Losing its bright red ruby colour makes the smile slowly disappear.” 

“NO noo!! Nooo!! Please run fast, Kai Onichan! Please!!” one of the little girls with the two long ponytails mumbles 

“Yes, Kai onichan please run fast!! We are there” making the guy pause as he lifts his gaze up to look at the kids through his long eyelashes. A few locks of hair in front of his one eye, hiding the scar over his forehead and in between his eyebrow. 

“Just a little longer, don't give up so soon, just don't let the string of fate disappear now” 

What seems like forever the bell of the clock starts to ring leaving a smile on the face of the kids. Who were already asleep next to one another on the carpet floor hugging their soft pushy toy. 

Making the guy with the black hair get up from the bean bag, placing the book upon the table beside him. Fixing the bathrobe bending down picking one of the kids in his arm as he starts to walk towards the bed.

“Alpha?” one of the ladies walk towards him into her late 20s looking at the kid, making him look at her then at the little kid in his arm. A soft smile played over her lips, only made him shake his head no

"Daisy Alpha has to take nap too, why don't common I will tug you in bed" the lady smiles looking at the little girl who just shakes her head no once again.

“It's okay, take care of the other kids” with the blank look over his face making the lady stiff for a second hearing his deep dark voice. 

“Yes Alpha” bowing her head taking a step back as she walks towards the kids followed by another pair of them. Picking up the kids in their arms, put them up on the bed one after the other.

Taking a deep breath the guy lays the kid upon the bed careful not to wake her up, who was still hugging her stuff toy in her arm. 

The guy who was previously referred to as the Alpha slowly pulls the cover above her, making the girl stern in her sleep. 

Just to hold his sleeve, the next second slowly opened her sleepy eyes. Looking back at the grey once makes it seems as if it doesn’t really hold any emotion into them. 

“Oh, did I wake you up?” the little girl just shook her head in response, rubbing her one eye with the tiny fist 

“Did h-he reach on time following the red string on his pinky?” she asked into a soft voice, making the guy freeze in response for a second. As if his mind flashes back for a moment as if the footsteps echoing around his ears. 

"Well that's for another time with other kids it's nighttime now get some sleep"

"But can't you tell me just a little tiny bit?" the girl pouts with her sleepy doe eyes, making the Alpha chuckle in response with a sad smile over his face.

"Why don't I tell you what happened along with others the first thing when you wake up in the morning" the guy smiles making to finally close her eyes. Sleepy nodded her head in response with her little finger warped around, holding it softly.

"Good night Daisy sweet dreams" learning down just to place a soft kiss over her forehead, making a soft smile spread across the little girl face.

"Ni-night night oni-chan" the girl mumbles

"Really you know that when these kids wake up they are just going to run towards your room Alpha" long black hair reaches up to his waist with the same golden eyes as his own. Wearing a black shirt and pants printed with starts over it, hair tied into two pony and pink clips on either side of his head.

Making the eyes of the guy go wide in response, covering his mouth just to cough trying his best to cover his laugh this only made the long black haired clutch his hands into a tight fist.

"Han-gyeol damn where is my phone I want to take a picture of you" feeling the tears forming over the corner of his eyes making Han-gyeol roll his eyes in response.

"Yes yes, laugh at me as much as you want Dear Alpha, I will tell Mina to do the same to you"

"Yes why not she can do that to us both, we can take a selfie and frame it later" this only made Han-gyeol shoulders fall.

"Even if you don't age sure, you are turning more into a kid as you turn older"

"Whatever" turning to look towards the girl patting her head a few times. "Let's get some sleep, or we are going to get late for the college and don't call me Alpha there. Do you even remember my name?"

"I sure do Ji-hoon"

"Good" with the sweet smile over his face, "Oh before I go to sleep I have to put on the face mask the heat these days are too much"

"Sometimes I feel I'm taking care of a teenage kid" slowly gets up from his chair trying to his bed not to wake up the kid.

"I heard that"

"I know that"

"Then why don't you join, it's skincare time"

"No-"

"What?"

"Why not? Why not" with the fake smile over his face taking his step back making space for Ji-hoon who just chuckles in response,

"Good! I thought you said no?" with his hands behind his back with Han-gyeol following behind, the smile overgrew wider than before.

"How can I say No~ to you my one and my only best friend since childhood Ji-hoon" the words only sound as if they were being mocked.

"Right, that's what I wanted to hear"

Walking out of the room, missing as the door closes right behind them by the guy dressed in a white night suit with his head bowed. Having a small conversation in between them as they walk through the long hallway, missing the girl who stood over the corner hidden in the shadow.

Staring down over her hand the red string attached to her pinky finger as they walked past her, this only made Ji-hoon stop on his track. Turning around just to look over the place he just walked from, just to see no one.

"What happened?" Han-gyeol asked staring over the same place where he did, making Ji-hoon shake his head no in response.

"Nothing" turned around as he continued to walk lifting his hand up slightly staring at his pinky just to sign in response.

'This time too?'
