When the emcee held the envelop with the names of the winners, the judge stood up and looked proudly at us. It even makes me proud of myself. For a first-timer like me, I made it into the top five. To announce the first runner-up and the winner for the School's Pride 2017, we bow and clasp each other's hands. "Allow me to introduce the two beautiful candidates..." I set aside the disappointments and betrayal I ever felt, because the woman who holds my hand is the woman who wore my gown. Yes, the gown she wore is mine. The gown altered as she cut it out to make it appear like her, but I was very familiar with my gown. I knew my gown. That gown was made out of unity, hardwork and teamwork with the dean and the rest of the staff, and it impossible not to know it since that's mine. Sh
