Chapter 10

Today I and Jake have a date with Alex and Maria. I and Jake just woke up. Jake went to the other room to take a shower and use clean clothes.

I finish up my routine and went to my bathroom and took a shower.

10 minutes later

When I got out of the shower I went to my room to get a surprise on my own.

"You scared the hell out of me," I said putting my hand over my heart.

"My bad, I just came in to tell you breakfast is ready, and when we finish we are going shopping at the mall" when those are said. I look at him and my smile just turns to smirk.

He has no idea what's coming up to him. He shouldn't say those words at all. He is going to get a lesson that he will never forget.

When we finish eating we went to the mall. We went to Forever 21 since it's my favorite store including some other stores.

"Since we are here why not look at some dress that you want to wear at our first double date here" Jake whisper in my ear.

"Are you sure you want to do this"

"I'm sure" he looks positive "how hard can it be at shopping, it can't be that bad," he said shrugging

You have no idea. You will start to hate me for this and never go shopping with me ever again.

We started to look for the dress that I'm going to wear but no luck. Did I forget to mention when we finish having our double date, we are going to have our first date together all alone. Yup, I did forget to tell you I think not sure.

"Are we almost done?" Jake said with a sleepy voice.

"Not quite yet we still have more to go since I'm paying for my things," I said still looking for more clothes

"How long are you going to take since we have a date," he said annoyed

"Not sure at all" I just keep smiling. I found the dress that I'm going to wear. Did I mention I buy more than one dress? Not just a dress like a shirt, socks, shoes, and more stuff.

"I'm done let's go home," I said and I see Jake smiling like he is grateful to get out of here.

When we are outside it's already at 5:00 pm.

" I can't believe it, we stay at the mall for 8 hours. We're lucky, the date starts at 7:00" Jake said.

"Come on we could finish it quickly. Since you already buy the clothes that you are going to wear. Just go to the guest room and take a show and dress" I said he just nodded

We made it to the car and off we go. We just talk about random things that come to our heads that's all.

We made it home and we are welcome by my parents that didn't look happy at all.

"Were where you" dad said

"We went to the mall I told you yesterday," I said and dad thought about it.

"Oh right, I completely forgot my bad" dad said scratching his back.

"LORENZO HEARTS" mom yelled. I and Jake just walk backward.

"How can't you forget about this I was so worried about her," mom said looking disappointed.

" Well my bad we have so many kids I forget so much stuff," dad said putting his hand up in the air. "But I know what could take your mind off" dad smirked

"Eww", Jake and my siblings said behind the walls. Except for Willow she still little.

"Well, now things are okay well I got to get ready and so is Jake since we have a double date.

When I said those words dad look happy.

" Are you and Jake are together?" dad said with a smile. Okay, this is weird isn't my dad post to give Jake a dead stared or beat him up or something.

"Not yet but soon I just want to take her on a date first," Jakes said

"Finally, he will be my son-in-law" he jumps for joy. Me, Jake, and my whole family look shocked at what my dad said.

"Mom what's wrong with dad," I said looking confused.

"I will say he was drop when he was a baby but he was born that way," mom said laughing.

"I did not. I'm just happy that Jake step up. I mean like finally how long does it take" dad said

"If I remember you were like him you take your sweet ass time to ask me out" mom shot back

"But this is different," dad said crossing his arm

"No is not, you always get scared when I talk to you. I remember actually you faint in front of me when I say yes" mom shout back. It's funny how mom and dad act like teenagers.

"Well, I and Jake got to get ready so dad stops being a drama queen for once. Your not a little kid no more" me and my siblings laugh including mom.

"Fine, but I don't make promises," dad said walking away. I just shook my head
