NEW BEGINNINGS

PROLOGUE

I have always thought life is all about going to school, getting a job and getting married, then having kids. But I recently discovered life is more than that.

It all started on a Monday morning, it started off as usual, waking up, brushing my teeth and freshening up for work. I got dressed went to work and sat down in my desk as usual. I work as an IT specialist so I focus on development communications software and help in repairs. It was a boring day as usual, had fun with friends during lunch time and went back to my desk after lunch.

I was going through my mail when I saw a message, the message was from an unknown sender. I became curious and opened it, it read 'Hey Alexander, it's me, just wanted to check up on how you are doing, Hope you are fine. Anyway I wanted to ask why are you wasting your life?'. At that moment I stopped reading and started to wonder what this meant. I was scared but just disregarded it as a Advertisement mail.

I forgot about the mail then decided to continue with the business of the day. At closing hours, I said farewell to my fellow colleagues and went home.

On my way home, I heard a beep in my phone, I took it out and saw a message from an unknown sender, I decided to read the message, it read 'Hey it's me again, I want to make you an offer, You have two choices.

-Stop wasting life and spend it in another world. Or

-Die in this world knowing you never achieved anything meaningful'.

I was frightened but excited, I had to make the right choice, which was obviously the first one. I mean who wouldn't want to go to a new world.

At first I didn't want to make the choice, so I went home. At home I fell face flat on my bed, the message was still on my mind though, so I decided to bring out my phone.

I stared at the two choices so long. Finally I decided to make a choice. I choose the first option by texting'I choose the first one' back to the sender.

Suddenly my phone's screen started brightening up, I was so scared. I then got a reply from the mysterious sender which read 'Good choice, Welcome to the kingdom of New beginnings'.

I suddenly got pulled into my phone, I tried holding on to something but the pull was too strong.
