Chapter 7

The night was over and everybody was overwhelmed with sweet dreams than usual.Both the twins brothers John and kimsy had great night than before and eventually found the good morning.Clarah the future wife to the twins also had the best night and woke up at the crack of dawn as being the first as usual.It was the first day and night she had in a great home of her dream.

At seven o'clock every descendants in the entire house was awake and began their daily activities.Clarah had began the normal kitchen activities and had already prepared the breakfast for everyone.She was very happy at the moment as she served everyone warmly with a cup of hot coffee.She actually found it interesting to make a wife as she had dreamt of.

This time she was free and had forgotten that her case was pending to the council of elders.

They Sat down together in the table room enjoying the hot coffee and each one of them had a different interesting story to share and actually they were happy and laughing.

Eventually, the parents to the twins brothers John and kimsy brought up the motion that the parents and the council of elders to Clarah were on their way and had called earlier that day.They wanted to take Clarah back to their home.Then Clarah said to them,"which other home than this do they want me to be? This is a great home where i probably currently belong and dreamt of and they are also aware of. Let unless they are coming for the dowry which they deserve." The mother to the twins asked,"What if they want a dowry being doubled?"Then John answered her mother,Mum you will have to accept and pay for us both.The parents got shocked and suggested that may be John and kimsy had accepted and decided to marry one woman.

Now kimsy cleared his throat and said,"mum we have been brought up together with my brother John and we can't separate on anything.we have tried to marry differently and found it was very difficult for us. As our loving parents you will have to accept and pay the dowry twice for us.Then Clarah stood immediately making some loud cheers and clapping her hands.Imediately she began singing a wedding song and everyone remained quiet while staring at her as she proceeded.Everybody found the wedding song very interesting and enjoyable. Unexpectedly, the twins brothers John and kimsy also rised and began the chorus together.They together made it more interesting and louder until the twin's parents also got involved and sang together. This was very interesting morning and greatly made the day warm.

The parents and the council of elders to Clarah had a very long long journey to cover and had began it at crack of dawn hence they were about to come.From far away they heard some loud echo and there were people singing.Everybody began to wonder where was it coming from and were in doubt if it was from the twins home.As they approached the voices grew more loud and the mother to Clarah suggested that she hears her daughter's voice.The council of elders and parents to Clarah hurriedly walked and eventually reached the gate and entered.

They suddenly entered and found everyone was happily singing a wedding song and immediately paused.Now everybody was confused and wondered how this could happen.Very exiting the matter was,that not only the twins and Clarah were singing but also their parents were involved.Now everyone kept in questions.How could the parents and sons sing a wedding song as if it was a wedding ceremony? How did they began such a behavior?

This day was not set up for the council of elders to arrive at the moment.The parents to the twins

admired the crowd but they referred to them as an emergency and asked the council of elders to hold it a bit as they were supposed to call their clan council of elders to negotiate with the other. It took a length of two hours before the other council of elders were organized and arrived. This time the parents to the twins were very determined and had accepted to pay the double dowry to their twins John and kimsy.

It was not normality to their clan and the entire community to pay the double dowry for a woman.This was very unique and new opinion in the clan.

A while after the council of elders from the twins clan arrived,a quick negotiations began.Two hundred heards of cattles were in demand and referred as half a dowry.Then other one hundred goats were in demand and then some amount in cash was to be paid to make a complete dowry payment.The council of elders were very strict and they wanted a complete dowry payment.Thiy insisted it fully payment because Clarah was declared to have been settled already without their concerns.

As per the twins clan, it was very shameful to bargain for the dowry.The twins parents were very rich and asked few mens to go with them and chose the cows and goats from the heard.

The goats and cows were immediately brought in front of the council of elders and were accepted.The money in Cash was also brought in front and the dowry was completed.So the traditional breweries were brought in big traditional pots.A while after, some traditional songs and dances began until the evening hours.The council of elders on both sides blessed the daughter and the entire home. During the evening hour the visitors departed to their homes happily and were all invited in a wedding party after a month.The parents to the twins said that paying for dowry was not enough to satisfy their sons and Clarah,so the wedding was essential.

The twins were found quiet happy but it might be a confusing marital status as the wife was to be shared between John and kimsy.There was a great confusion and hard condition between John and kimsy.Now, how will the woman in question serve the twins brothers? will the twins brothers be satisfied with one woman or they will have to marry another one? what if they marry another woman, will the half of the dowry paid be returned to the parents?
