Abilities Beyond My Life

As I woke up on my 18th birthday, the sun was seeping through my curtains. I got up and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I went to the kitchen and found Aiofe and Yara waiting for me at the table.

"Good morning Alcina, " Yara said. "Happy birthday honey," both said in unison.

"Thank you," I smiled and took my seat at the table.

We all ate breakfast while chatting happily. When we were done Aiofe left to handle some pack business, and Yara called me over to the lounge after the kitchen was cleaned.

"Alcina, when we found you, you had a letter in your pocket and as it was written on the envelope, today is the day I give it to you," said Yara.

Yara held the letter to me with a loving smile.

"Will you read it with me Yara? I am v... very n... nervous and don't want to be alone," I asked with a stutter.

"Of course my dear," Yara said giving me a side hug.

I opened the letter and started reading it out loud so that Yara could also hear.

" My dear daughter Alcina.

Today is your 18th birthday my girl. You are now a woman and a lot of things are going to change. You will find your mate and will be happy. You will live your life as the moon goddess has fated to be. But always remember that you can also change your own fate and nothing is set and done. I wish I could be with you at this very moment so that I can be able to tell you all these things myself and in person, but that is unfortunately not my fate and my fate cannot be changed or cheated. You are special Alcina. You have the blood of a alpha, the blood of an oracle, the blood of a witch and the blood of a lycan running through your veins. The blood to conjure anything you put your mind to. You have the strength of the strongest beings that have ever roamed this earth and I know you will use it for good because you are pure my daughter. On Midnight this day you will endure the most pain you will ever feel as all of your abilities will activate all at once.

I know this might be a lot to take in and I wish I was there to help you through it all but I know that Luna Yara will always be by your side to support and love you.

Just know that I will always love you.

I shifted and changed like the letter said. My mother was right about it being painful, but Yara stayed by my side through it all.

It was like all my abilities were unlocked and activated. My appearance also changed, my hair turned white, my eyes red and my complexion turned flawless.

I learned to control all of my abilities quite quick. I was stronger than everyone I ever spawned with and I could shift into a lycan and a wolf both of them white with red eyes. I could see the future of everyone I touched except my own. When I would cast spells my hair would turn bright red. I could do everything and more a normal witch would ever dream of.

I lived my life as normal as I could. Aiofe and Yara were the only beings that knew of my abilities. Aiofe was afraid my abilities would put me in danger if other knew about it, and so we kept it quiet and secret.
