THE HOUSE BECAME QUIET AFTER BYRON LEFT. It just wasn’t the same as before. Ivan and Cooper tried to fill up the void, but nothing worked. "Hey, Oscar. Stop sulking. You need to get out there. The kids want to know you." Jason knocked on Oscar’s house. He could have barged in, being the luna of the pack, but he preferred to respect his friend’s privacy. "Wait. I am in the kitchen," Oscar replied, as he washed his hands clean. He wiped them on his apron, then walked to the door to attend to Jason.
