Chapter 7: "The Truth Revealed"

Alessia's mind was reeling as she tried to process what had just happened. Marco, Damian's most trusted associate, had just threatened her.

She knew she had to tell Damian what had happened, but she was scared. What if Marco was working against Damian? What if Damian didn't believe her?

As she walked into the mansion, Alessia saw Damian standing in the living room. He was talking to one of his associates, but as soon as he saw Alessia, he excused himself and walked over to her.

"Hey, what's wrong?" he asked, noticing the look of concern on her face.

Alessia took a deep breath and told him everything. She told him about Marco's threat, and about her suspicions.

Damian's face darkened as he listened. When Alessia finished talking, he pulled out his phone and dialed a number.

"Marco, we need to talk," he said.

Alessia's eyes widened as she realized what was happening. Damian was confronting Marco.

As they waited for Marco to arrive, Alessia couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. What if Marco was working against Damian? What if he had been playing them all along?

When Marco arrived, Damian's expression was cold and calculating.

"Marco, is it true?" Damian asked. "Are you working against me?"

Marco's eyes widened in fear, and for a moment, Alessia thought she saw a flash of guilt.

But then, Marco spoke. "I was trying to protect you, Damian," he said. "I was trying to protect you from yourself."

Alessia's eyes narrowed. What did Marco mean?

But before she could ask any questions, Damian spoke up.

"You're fired, Marco," he said. "You're no longer welcome in my home."

As Marco left, Alessia turned to Damian.

"What did Marco mean?" she asked.

Damian's expression was grim.

"He was trying to protect me from my own family," he said. "From my own brother."

Alessia's eyes widened in shock. Damian's brother? What did he have to do with anything?

But before she could ask any questions, Damian pulled her into his arms.

"I'm sorry, Alessia," he said. "I'm sorry you got dragged into this."

Alessia's heart melted at his words. She knew that Damian was trying to protect her, and she appreciated it.

But she also knew that she couldn't just sit back and do nothing. She had to help Damian, no matter what.

And so, with a newfound determination, Alessia set out to uncover the truth. She was ready to face whatever lay ahead, as long as it meant helping Damian.

But little did she know, the truth was more complicated than she could have ever imagined.
