“Klaus!” I screamed, rushing to meet him as he wrapped his hands around Aiden’s neck, breathing profusely. A loud growl escaped from his throat.
“You traitor!” he shouted.
I ran towards him. “Klaus, leave him alone.”
“Why? Huh? And who the hell are you to tell me what to do? My mum or what?” he asked.
I swallowed hard. “I know you are angry, but taking your anger out on him would be worse. People would get to find out that you all were never on good terms, and whatever they are planning would work.”
