Katherine POV
A smile shadowed his face immediately I accepted his offer. He sprang up to his feet planting a soft kiss on my head
“ I promise you that you won't regret it” he assured me.
I faked a smile as he whispered his words. This would not be the first or the last time I would be hearing such promises.
I am used to getting disappointed. It doesn't affect me any longer who hears or who does not promise me.
“I hope so” I whisper to myself watching him walk away after promising to be back in a few minutes.
Immediately he is gone, I heave a sigh and walk around the room. The witch words echoing around my head.
If you should ask me why I hate this place even if I have freedom and I might become the next time why I sometimes lay away and miss my home. It would be for my safety.
