“What?” I ask as my eyebrow deepens into a frown. “Can you hear what you are saying? Jake does not even know Jace,” I said.
I knew Jake wanted Klaus dead, and so did Jace. But I don't think he would want revenge so badly that he would join hands with his Alpha Killian who killed his sister.
She nods her head. “I am serious, Liv. In fact, Jake is in the palace clinic, where they are taking care of him. I promise you that I am telling the truth.”
I scan her eyes to see if she is lying, but she looks deadly serious. I heaved a sigh. The only way to find out is if I visit him and see him with Derek.
