Katherine POV
“So tell me. What would you have done if you were not a prince? If you were just a normal wolf with a normal family?" I asked, watching him as he ate his food. He has finished spoon-feeding me and decided to eat his own meal.
He stopped eating and dropped his spoon on his plate. He stares at me for a while, searching for answers in my face. He shrugged, “I don't know. I never had a normal life. I don't even know what a normal life is,” he said, picking up his spoon to continue eating in silence.
Guilt mixed with self-pity washed me as I looked at him eating his food hungrily. He was a fast eater. I could not imagine myself living with this type of life. With this type of toxic home.
My parents were not that good, but at least it was not as toxic as his own.
