Chapter 22

1102 Words

Klaus POV I never had a father, but I had a father, and his name was Gabriel Salvatore. He was my mother's elder brother and has stood by us all through. He made sure that I was not laughed at, stood by me when others did not. So I am very sure that the man they are talking about cannot and will never be him. Which is why I laughed so much when Katherine told me who the person was. “It's not funny, Klaus,” she whispered. I stopped and looked at her, her pale skin with dry lips. “My uncle?” I asked, raising an eyebrow. She nodded her head slowly. “Yes. Your uncle. He is the one who wrote the diary, and he was also the one who Theresa might have been having s*x with and—” “Shut up, Katherine!” I snapped. Her eyes widened. “What? You don't believe me?” she asked, her voice cracking.
