Chapter 15
Julius POV
I look up from Aubrey to see Vincent staring at me like he wants to kill me. I am sure he would if he could. I push Aubrey gently behind me, to put myself between them. That apparently made him even angrier, but I don't care she is MY mate. I will fight until the day I die for her. Vincent starts growling at me, so I growl back. I see Aubrey making her way to her brother. Smart girl. I am glad she is out of the way. I let Anubis take over and start to shift. I am a pretty big wolf. I have never seen Vincent's wolf, but I am about to. I can see he is shifting as well. I am already in wolf form, he is still shifting.
His wolf is tiny compared to Anubis. I am not sure why he thinks this is a good idea. We are circling each other, snarling and snapping. He lunges first
