Aubrey POV
Julius kicks in the door and I am standing over Vincent's lifeless body, snarling at it. I look up and see him and my father and I calm down instantly. I shift back and I can see Julius looking for Vincent's non-existent mark. I can see the relief in his eyes at the fact that it is not there. I run into his arms and he picks me up and carries me to their camp on the edge of the woods. He tells me that we will spend the night here so I can rest. I insist on going back to my father's territory right away. I want to be in the safety of my pack lands, I would just feel better.
"Sweetie, are you sure you are up to the trip?" my father asks.
"Yes, daddy I am up for the trip, I want to go home," I tell him.
