THE STRANGE LAND

Still in the midnight, they kept following the direction of the light of Rod of command till morning, and they could not locate the lighting again because it stopped for a moment. After that they set a tent to relax and make for themselves a food to eat,  some minutes later, after relaxing and filling up their belly, they prepare to move forward. 

Delmar noticed a tiny road leading out to another place in the forest. The road was so tiny and tight at first but continued to get bigger as they moved deep. Delmar and Dehina are curious of where the strange road will lead them to, so they become extremely careful.

As they continued moving forward, a zebra ran from behind to their front sides and stood to block their way. Looking closely at the zebra, they saw that the zebra was half human and half animal, from the face to neck was in human form. But the rest of the body was in animal form. 

The zebra was holding a trumpet and preparing to sound the trumpet. Delmar quickly said, “wait! We are not here to harm you, we are lost and hope you can show us the way out”.

So the zebra lowered the trumpet down and gave a sign to follow him as he moved forward. The half human and half animal zebra took them to their homes.

On getting there, the zebra king welcomed them by arranging a festival of the zebra, and they performed so many dances. The zebra king and his queen ask them to stay and live with them.

“Live with us, you humans, so that we can learn the ways of the humans,” said the zebra king.

“We would love to live here and teach you the ways of the humans, but we need to go and save lives, we will return here some other time .

We are searching for an important thing and our world, the Earth, will be in danger if we remain here in this land”. Delmar replied.

Then the zebra queen replied in place of her king, “what is the thing that is that more important”. 

“The thing that will save our world if we find it and return it to its rightful place”. Delmar answered the queen. And they show them the way out. 

In the city, Evelyn's mind was not at rest because she saw a vision of Delmar in the forest but she did not understand what the vision was all about, as she thought maybe Delmar's home was a very big city, but her flash vision was all about a thick forest.

She wanted to know what the flash vision was all about as she did not understand herself. So she left the house to find Terry, her old school mate friend to lead her to the location Delmar might possibly be. 

But Princess Velena sent her maid Alena to find out Evelyn's whereabouts, as she  was walking then princess Velena's maid Alena was secretly following her, she branched to a lonely place where she usually summoned Terry at times and she positioned herself to summon him out.

So Evelyn picked a stone on the floor and threw it through the  transparent blue light, the passage between one  country to another , immediately the stone fell to where he was lying and as soon as he saw the stone, he picked it up and felt the hand of Evelyn.

Terry quickly runs to meet Evelyn and appears through the blue transparent light before Evelyn.  Alena was secretly seeing everything that was happening and she went back to deliver her message to Princess Velena. 

After some time, Evelyn and Terry set out to find Delmar by using some magical powers to locate him, but since princess Velena knows everything, she tries to prevent Evelyn and Terry from finding out Delmar and Dehina's location.  Princess Velena never trusted Evelyn, thinking that she might expose Delmar's secret.

After getting to a calm place, Evelyn told Terry about the flash vision about everything she saw and to help her locate Delmar, so Terry used his powers.

He focused on finding Delmar but his spirit was moving too far for the search because they are too far away from the city, he tried several times but was not successful, he was afraid his spirit might go far away and never returned. 

As Terry was trying to use his powers the last time, here comes princess Velena and her maid Alena. As soon as Terry saw princess Velena, he tried to attack her but Evelyn stopped them.

“What are you doing here?” Evelyn asked. Princess Velena replied, “I should have asked you the same question, what are you desperate to find, Evelyn?”.

But Evelyn was speechless for a few seconds because she did not know what to say. Princess Velena asked again, “You did not know why you were here right?”

Then Terry answered in place of Evelyn, “it is none of your business lady” .

As Evelyn noticed the argument between Terry and princess Velena may lead to a fight, so she said, “if you want to know why I am here then I will tell you, I want to find Delmar, hope you can help me?”.

Evelyn purposely throws the question to princess Velena knowing she acted strange at times, and feels suspicious about her presence, on hearing that, princess Velena can not Denny Evelyn's help. 

“Yes I can help you,” she answered. 

So princess Velena used her own abilities to locate Droid and Dehina, and immediately she felt where they were, and they went to the place.

As they reached the land which is called the strange land, Evelyn was so surprised that Delmar lied to her and felt heartbroken as she said in her heart, “why would Delmar lie to me, what exactly was he doing in this thick forest, or is this forest leading to his country?”.

Evelyn was so heartbroken, “ I will break up with him unless he proves himself and  tell me that what I was thinking was not true, only if he proves himself”. 

They saw a gate that led through to the strange land, the gate was written all over the body, “the gate of honor”.

So they tried to go in, but the gate never opened to them because the gate did not allow any high ranked person in, and anyone who wanted to go through must humbled themselves and lowered themselves before getting through.

Princess Velena tried several times but she was rejected by the gate, so Evelyn moved forward and tried her luck too, and instantly she was allowed in, Terry tried too and he was allowed in, but princess Velena and her proud maid remained there for some hours until they lowered themselves and they were allowed in. 

But little did they know there was another way that Delmar and Dehina passed when they entered the strange land. So  one of the messengers of the evil Vigora called the demon was secretly looking at them, and how they entered through the gate of the strange land called ‘the gate of honor’.

After that, the messenger returned to deliver his message to the evil Vigora. When the evil Vigora heard that, he grew in anger and said, “the Rod Of Command must be mine, once I lay my hand in it, then I will rule the whole world, the world will be mine,” he laughed and sent his two giant skeletons to stop Delmar.

But the skeleton missed the road and went directly to Evelyn. Evelyn and Terry were walking together since princess Velena and her maid Alena has been separated from them because the ‘Gate Of Honor’ which was the gate of the entrance of the strange land did not allowed them in in time, so the four of them, Evelyn, princess Velena and Alena her Maid separated in two. 

As they kept moving, they heard a sound of legs matching the ground. The sound was like a giant  creature, but Evelyn and Terry did not know where the sound was coming from and  Evelyn became afraid because the sound was shaking the ground heavily.

As the sound was getting near, the trees were bowing down, then a giant skeleton taller than some of the tall trees. His head can not be clearly seen because of the cloud covering the skeleton face, and was approaching forward, searching for Evelyn and Terry because he already sensed them. 

But they were hiding under a big falling tree. As the giant skeleton was moving, using his giant hands to uproot the big trees covering his way as he was very hungry looking for them, he continued to look for them and never left the place since he could smell the fresh blood of Evelyn and Terry.

Delmar and Dehina are still searching for the Rod of command but they never saw the ending of the light of it.  As they were moving closer to the lighting, the lighting  vanished and they lost connection, as they found themselves in another location. 

It continues like that whenever they are getting closer to the lighting of the Rod of command, and it keeps delaying their time. 

 As they keep moving forward, Delmar hears a feeling that someone was calling for help just as it happened when he saved Evelyn in the transparent pond on the  lake side. The sound was a girl's voice, but because of the distance and the weird things in the strange Forest land, he did not get the clear voice of who was calling for help. 

He kept hearing the voice saying, “please help me, Delmar, where are you?”. 

The voice of Evelyn was crying for help because the giant skeleton found them where they were hidden. As Terry tried to fight the giant skeleton to protect Evelyn, he was left unconscious because the giant skeleton was too strong.

After that, he grabbed Evelyn in the neck and throw her into his head, in the giant skeleton head, there was a big circle hole that was used to breathe, because his nostril has been blocked, and inside the big hole there was another deadly hole leading to the giant skeleton belly, he used that to feed on human blood.

Wherever the giant skeleton was tasty of human blood, he would throw humans on the big hole in his head and direct the people he threw there to the deadly hole, leaving them to slowly die as he slowly sucked their blood and continued to live. collect human flesh to his skeleton body, and grow taller. 

Evelyn was there and her body continued to weaken but her blood still remained with her because her blood was half human half witch ghost, so the giant skeleton can not suck her blood.

Delmar continued to trace the voice of the young girl and follow his heart as it was beating so fast as he was getting closer to the place. The giant skeleton was also moving closer to him, as he saw the giant skeleton he heard the voice again but this time it was so clear that Evelyn's voice was calling for help. 

Then Delmar appears before the giant skeleton and starts battling with the giant skeleton, as they were battling it affects Evelyn that Evelyn hit her head at one of the bone ribs of the giant skeleton, and blood drops down from her head to the bone ribs.

As Evelyn's blood drops down to the bone, then little by little one of the bone ribs breaks into pieces and burns, as one of the giant skeleton bones has been destroyed, he becomes weak. 

As Evelyn noticed her blood destroy the bone, so she purposely hit her head again and again to one of the bone and she place her hand at the center of the dropping of her blood, after that, she flipped her hand and her blood was sprinkled all over the giant skeleton bone  until all the giant skeleton bone was totally destroy and decayed. 

As the giant skeleton decayed and Evelyn had no place to stand on her belly so she started falling from the sky, as Delmar noticed someone was falling so he ran and caught her, looking clearly as if she was Evelyn.

Delmar catched Evelyn but she already fainted due to loss of blood and stress, he called Evelyn but she remained silent, so Delmar dropped Evelyn down gently and looked for herbal treatment.

Dehina also tried to take care of Evelyn, and after a good treatment, Evelyn opened her eyes after some hours. As she opened her eyes, she saw Delmar and hugged him as tears fell down from Evelyn's eyes, because she thought she was dreaming and thought she would never wake up from her dream seeing Delmar, but she did not know it was all in reality, not a dream.

Evelyn asks with tears in her eyes saying, “Delmar, am I dreaming, is this really you?” Delmar looked at Evelyn's watering eyes and smiled saying, “no Evelyn you are not dreaming”, then he kissed Evelyn showing her that is not a dream but reality. 

He  then old her hand and raised her up, he asked how she ended up in the strange Forest, she told him that she was worried about him, and when Evelyn remembered that Delmar lied to her, she became uncomfortable with him because he lied to her and said, “what are you doing here in this thick forest Delmar, is this forest full of weird things the road leading to your Homeland?”

Delmar did not know what to say because Evelyn had caught him lying. Delmar looking with guilty eyes, and said, “i can explain it to you Evelyn, I did not mean to lie to you and I do not know it will hurt you that much, please forgive me”.

Still, Evelyn was confused what exactly he was doing in the forest, so she asked him if he was hiding some secrets from her, but Delmar kept skipping the question and using other words to cover  up the discussion. 

Princess Velena and her maid Alena was still in the other sides of the strange forest, still searching for Evelyn and Delmar but the road was so complex and they find it difficult to locate them, as they keep moving on without knowing the exact road to follow, Velena look up to the sky because of some noise she heard, she saw the cloud in separate ways coming together, another strange sign.
