THE ANCESTORS

The witch ghost tries to use her powers, but Delmar stops and captures her. She pleaded that  he should spare her life.

“Please do not kill me” 

 Delmar asks the captured witch ghost girl if she knows anything about Evelyn. 

 “Am looking for a young lady and I guess you can show me where you hide her”.

But the witch ghost girl replied,  “she used her blood to resurrect the witches ghost” . 

“Did you know her?” he asked.

“ Untie me and I will show you where she is”. The witch ghost said.

Delmar used his power to tie the witch ghost girl so that she will not escape and no one can untie the witch girl except Delmar himself, so he untied her  and they started their short journey to where Evelyn was.

On their way,  they meet another witch ghost, saying, “you can not take our Queen away”. 

She cried and her tears were also in the form of blood. 

Delmar asks,  “Who is your Queen?” 

She replied, “Our Queen is the one you are looking for but you can not take her once she received our blood” 

Then the witch ghost laughed heavily and she vanished. Delmar asked the witch ghost girl who was leading him to Evelyn, “What is the blood the witch was talking about and why should Evelyn receive their blood?” 

She asked in reply, “is Evelyn her name?”  “Yes,” Delmar answered.

 “Because she is the great great great granddaughter of the ancient witch ghost Queen and she is the right one to lift up the course in our head,” She said.

“How is that possible, how can she be the great great granddaughter of the ancient queen of the witch ghost kingdom?” Delmar asked surprisingly.

 Then the witch ghost girl started to tell Delmar how it began, “ Long time ago, when the  Queen was pregnant and she gave birth to a girl, our princess, and a prophecy was given that the princess will destroy our world, and to prevent our world been destroyed by the princess, the princess must be killed before seven days”.  

She continues to say “ the Queen grew in anger and ordered the prophecy wizard to be  killed for destroying her joy and giving her a false prophecy, and immediately they burned the prophecy wizard to death. when the chiefs of the witch heard about it, they plan to kill the baby to stop the prophecy being fulfilled, and they form a treason with our nation, the queen save the princess and send her to the human world but the queen was  killed by the chiefs, before the Queen died she coursed our world and our world is destroyed”.

Delmar asks again, “then what brings the witches ghost world back, why did the witches appear again? ” 

The witch ghost girl answered “because Evelyn was the choosing one of the line of the ancient queen, her blood bring us back to life and renew our world, she is going to be crown a queen by pouring our blood on her head and after that, she will be our new queen that will rule us once again ”.

Then Delmar after hearing that, tried to make the journey very fast and his mind was not at rest, when they got to a river, Delmar saw someone calling “Delmar Delmar my son, mummy is here, come to mummy and mummy will protect you”.

He never not know the voice that was calling him and he went closer to the river, then he saw Helena carrying a baby dancing and singing with a smile on her face. 

He was confused because the land they are in is the land of the witches ghost so nothing is real or truthful, he thought all the place was full of lies and witches. He ask the witch ghost girl that was leading him to Evelyn what the river is all about, the witch ghost girl replied by , 

“ this is the secret river ” He asked,

“secret river?”  “ Yes, she replied the secret river was said to expose all hidden secret, whenever you get here and your life is full of secret then the secret river will exposed the secret you need to know '' Delmar ask again. 

“ I do not have any hidden secret. This must be the work of the witch that was trying to stop me from getting Evelyn out of the witches ghost world”. 

So they left the secret river and move forward to search for Evelyn, as they are getting closer, he saw two skeletons that are guarding the back gate of the palace of the witch ghost Queen, the main gate are guarded by five skeletons and the master of the witch ghost servants, the two witches ghost who are guarding the back gate saw Delmar and the witch ghost girl, so the two skeletons speaking their language telling the witch ghost girl “who is that human?” 

she replied, “the the two skeleton saying “our new queen need his blood”, so the two skeletons allowed them in

As they are  moving forward to the palace, the witches ghost are celebrating their soon to be called queen and they are all dancing, the witches who are carrying the pot of blood and those once carrying a calabashes on their heads moving forward slowly one by one and saying some incantations, one of the skeletons who allowed  Delmar and the witch ghost girl in notice that they do not have a queen yet and no one was giving them any orders. 

They are just guarding the entrance before they will announce their new queen.

So as the witches ghost wanted to pour the blood on Evelyn, a horn was blown by the skeletons who were guarding the gate and as soon as the witches ghost heard about the horns, they stopped what they were doing and they could not pour the blood on Evelyn’s head.

So the witches ghost sent their servant witch to check why the horn was blown, and immediately the witch ghost servants picked up their fighting weapons and set out to see what their witch ghost master sent them.

As the witch ghost savants are moving forward, they meet their fellow witches ghost who told them that they have an unwanted guest and they should hurry to get them. 

The witches ghost servants  went to the direction that Delmar and the witch ghost girl went and they met up with them, the witch servant removed their weapons and fought Delmar, and the witch ghost girl but Delmar defeated them so easily and he moved on .

From a far distance he saw Evelyn but she had already passed out because she did not allow the witches ghost to be near her so they made her have a deep sleep. Delmar runs to save Evelyn, the witches ghost who is carrying the pots and calabash and tries to stop him from taking Evelyn away, but he defeats all of them and takes Evelyn away.

The witch ghost girl pleaded that Delmar should take her as well but he abandoned her because she is one of the witches, she was different from other witches so she follows him secretly.

After he got out from the world of the ghost, he realized that someone was following him, so he asked. “who are you, show yourself?” 

Then princess Velena came out, Delmar was surprised and they moved on,  he reached home and Evelyn was still unconscious but she was still breathing. Delmar was feeling her breath and as her heart was beating, showing that she was not dead but just fainted or in a deep sleep.

After some days, Evelyn  opened her eyes and regained her consciousness, but she could not talk because she was possessed by the witches ghost . 

Delmar, Princess Velena and Helena did not know that Evelyn was possessed by the witches ghost, they kept searching for the reasons of her being paralysed but all their efforts were in vain. 

After some hours, Delmar sends a message to Dehina who has been standing at the gate of the passage between their underworld and the human world.

Dehina was waiting for Queen Sisiana’s order about the rod of command, and  the next message from the Queen's messenger, unaie who was facing some difficulties during his journey from the world beneath the sea to the Earth. Dehina has been waiting there since after their battle with the messenger of Vigora, but she did not receive any message from Queen Sisiana. 

    As she was still standing waiting for the Queen's message order, she saw a pigeon bird that flew through her and the pigeon bird dropped a small folded piece of paper that said, “Dehina I need your help” .

Immediately Dehina leaves and follows the direction of the bird, but instead for the pigeon bird to lead Dehina to Helena's home where Delmar was, the pigeon bird leads her to the witches ghost forest where the little witch ghost girl was sitting and weeping.

The witch ghost girl could not enter the city with Delmar, because she was so shy about how ugly her face was, so she sat under a big tree crying, her tears were blood and her eyes were bleeding constantly because she was sad and  crying.

She kept weeping heavily because she can not leave the witch ghost forest, and she do not know the beginning of her life, she do not know who she was nor where she came from, so all this make her so sad to weap .

But the little witch ghost girl was the only one that knew what to do to free Evelyn from that state she was in, since she was from the world of the witch ghost. So the pigeon bird led Dehina to the little witch ghost girl and also dropped another letter.

“take this little witch girl to Delmar”.  

And the pigeon flew away, after that, the little witch ghost girl wanted to fight Dehina but Dehina made her calm down.

“Please calm down, little witch because I never meant you any harm, I just need you to follow me to my Prince because he needs your help”.

After hearing that, the little witch ghost replied to Dehina saying “why me and for what reason are you taking me to meet your Prince? ” 

Though Dehina herself does not know the main reason Delmar sent for her help through the pigeon bird, but instead the pigeon bird led her to the little witch ghost girl. 

So the little witch ghost girl continued to say, “did you know why I am crying? It is because am too ugly to entered the human world”,   

Dehina replied, “but I can help you if you also promise to help me”.

The little witch ghost replied, “How can you help me, are you going to make me a beauty queen like you?”. 

“What if I made you a beauty queen, will you follow me to my Prince?” Dehina asked. 

“Yes,” the little witch ghost girl answered hopefully. 

So Dehina stretched her two hands and covered the little witch ghost girl's face, she released her hands, and made her face beautiful.

After the witch ghost girl saw how beautiful she was, she felt very happy, but at the same time she felt sad and she asked Dehina,  “how long will the beauty last on my face?”

“After helping me, then I will make your dreams come true.
