Delmar stands up asking him some questions, “what do you mean not in this human world, is she dead?”.

Then Terry answered, “I never told you she was dead but I can not locate her means she is in a far away place”.

“So can you not locate her?” Delmar asked.

“I too want to see her, but look at me, I am just a useless thing that can not render a small help to a friend, I am really sorry Delmar”.

Delmar left Terry and headed back home, on getting home he went straight to his room and the expression on his face tells he was not feeling happy.

The little Ebres was not around because she was in school for a few weeks and she just found her way back to see Dehina, her closest friend and sister. She missed everyone, as she was getting off from a taxi, she saw Delmar's expression and Delmar never noticed someone was standing before him as he walked disappointed and sadly to his room.

So the little Ebres followed him to his door and knocked at the door, saying with a cool voice , “Hello Delmar it is me Ebres knocking, can I come in?” .

But Delmar kept silent and never replied to her maybe to go in or not, so she gently opened the door and made herself in, Delmar's face was so gloomy and pitiful.

So she sat beside him, “Delmar you look unhappy, what is wrong?”.

Delmar looked at her then he noticed someone was talking, and he answered “Evelyn was gone missing for some days and we can not locate her and till now we still do not know where she is”.

So the little Ebres replied, “can you give me your hands?”. He gives her his hands hoping that she can find Evelyn, but the little Ebres was different from Terry because she can travel to anywhere in the world and even she can travel to another world with her spirit just as she brought back the same Evelyn from the spirit world, but Delmar never thinks to that side.

The little Ebres held Delmar's two hands, and she placed her own hands under Delmar's hands telling him to hold her so tight“.

Delmar you must hold my two hands so tight and do not let go of my hands whatever happens, you must not let go because I do not want to get stuck or be abandoned anywhere Evelyn might be now”.

Delmar answered, “I will never let go of your hands Ebres, so the little Ebres closed her eyes and focused herself to travel to anywhere Evelyn was hidden.

She appeared to a beautiful island where Evelyn is, and she kept waking to see if she could find someone to talk to, but the place does not look like a human world as the place was full of beautiful animals that lived in the sea and was surrounded by sea.

So the little Ebres continue to move forward to the middle of the animals and the wild sea harmless harmless continue making a fuse, saying, “is this not the type of the young lady who visited our island days ago, yes they are human, humans are harmful”.

And one of them shouted, “be careful and stay away from her”.

And all of them continue to make a way for the little Ebres, the little Ebres was so confused as she heard everything they were saying. She summoned her courage and replied to them, “Hey, I am not a bad girl, why are you badmouthing me, I am looking for my friend who you said she came here some days ago, can you take me to where she is?”.

So one of them , the crocodile, replied, “are you really here for peace? If so please follow me”.

So the little Ebres follow the crocodile to the sea and there appears a whale fish that she will take as a transport to the home of the mermaids.

As the big whale shark was slowly moving to the seashore, the little Ebres was moving backward, but the crocodile spoke saying, “young human do not be afraid she will carry you to the mermaid home, So brace yourself and enter through her mouth to your destination”.

So the little Ebres entered through the whale shark mouth, the whale shark was too big just like an average city, and as soon as she entered, she saw some unharmed animals who were also traveling to the mermaid home.

And she began to wonder if a fish could be big as this and she speak with her mind , “I know this could not be real because this is not a real world, everything here are just different, but wait how will i be able to tell this big fish where I want to stop when I myself did not know the place am heading to, oh the mermaid home I can remember what the crocodile said to me”.

So one of the unharmed animals continued staring at her and said, “do not worry because she knows where to drop you”.

But the little Ebres never stopped being nervous as the animals speak directly through their mouths just like humans because it seems strange to her, and she kept silent as she shook off her face away from the animals.

In the real world which was the human world, Delmar was still holding the little Ebres hands and it was more than one hour ten minutes, but he kept holding her hands so tight so that the little Ebres will not lose connection in search of Evelyn and may course her to never returned back to the human world.

Later Dehina came back from where she always communicated with Queen Sisiana and brought another letter from the Queen to Delmar.

So Dehina opened the gate to make herself in and looked everywhere but did not find Delmar, she knocked at delmar's door and Delmar told her to come in while holding the little Ebres hands.

But everything they were discussing was being heard by the little Ebres. Dehina entered and saw Delmar holding tight the little Ebres' two hands and she said, “what are you doing Delmar?”

Delmar answered, “as you can see I am holding Ebres hands, she wants to help me locate Evelyn, please do not interrupt”.

“Evelyn again! Have you forgotten how we almost lost Ebress the other time, and you still want her to do this again? No you already make her doing it and you never care how hard it would be for her, just because her heart is too soft to help anyone that feel sad and needed help just like you?”.

Dehina angrily forgot that she was talking to her prince, the future King of their world, because she loved the little Ebres a lot and could not stand to watch her suffer because of her short heart.

But Delmar felt guilty about what Dehina told him, because his heart was too soft too, and he answered Dehina with a calm voice, “you are right Dehina, I should not have allowed her to do it, I was so selfish of myself because I never think about her pain, am sorry Dehina”.

Hearing all that was coming out from Delmar's mouth, Dehina felt guilty as well because she made her prince beg for forgiveness which was not accepted in their world and considered as a big sin to anyone who does that, and should be punished severely.

So she said in her heart, “what have I done to myself to talk to my prince in such a harsh way, will I be punished for this?”.

Then immediately she kneeled down and said, “please forgive me my prince, I have talked to you in a cruel manner so I punished me, I deserved to be punished severely when we return back to our world”.

But Delmar told her to stand at her feet, “you did nothing bad or wrong to me, you said the right thing that I never noticed, sometimes we are punished for the right thing we do and it should not have been in that way”.

The little Ebres was listening to all their conversations in the belly of the big whale shark, it she kept focusing to where she was heading to, after some times, the big whale shark dropped her to the seashore where the mermaids island was located, then the big whale shark returned back to the sea.

The little Ebres was so surprised how beautiful the island was and nothing seems to be harmful in the island, all wild animals are friendly and beautiful, the place was so beautiful and she continues to Walk slowly, looking the beauty and amazing things she never have seen.

As the little Ebres continued moving forward, she saw three beautiful mermaids, they are sisters of one mother, who were searching for the friend of their youngest sister, and at the same time they were guarding the entrance of the mermaid island.

Then she ran quickly to them and said, “Hello, my name is Ebres and I am searching for a friend who is a girl, and she is not from your island because she lives in the human world, can you help me meet her?”.

Then one of them, who was the eldest sister of the three mermaids, answered, “I am Raphina, and my second sister is Sabrina, my youngest sister is Saphina, but who are you to this island, are you really here for a friend who is a girl?. “Alright let us see if you are telling the truth,” Raphina said.

So they gave her a very big Shell that was covered at the surface with a big mirror, called a ‘Mirrorshell’ to see everything about her. she must look at the Mirrorshell.

After looking they will take it back from her and look to see what she wanted, and also see directly to her heart if she has good intentions on coming to their island or bad intentions.

The three mermaids knew for anyone to find their island, then the person will not be an ordinary person, they are so afraid of the humans because humans have once put their world into jeopardy.

Though one of their rules was that they must not harm humans according to the order of the prophecy. So the little Ebres took the Mirrorshell from them and looked at her face, she saw herself just like a normal human mirror, after looking then she gave it back to them.

The eldest of the three mermaids sisters Raphina, take the Mirrorshell and look at it, she saw the whole hidden secret of the little Ebres, how she was living in the witch ghost world, her true look, and who made her ugly face to such a beautiful face, how she was connected to Evelyn her friend whom the three mermaids did not know by name.

Then Raphina the eldest sister of the three mermaids told the rest of them everything she saw, after hearing all that, Saphina the youngest of the three mermaids take out her magic stick to harm the little Ebres because she was afraid of the kind the little Ebres was, she was afraid if the human will course trouble to their land again just like before, and she wants to prevent any bad human from destroying their world.

But Sabrina the second to the eldest stopped her from her careless action and said to her, “what are you doing, do you not read the scroll which states, ‘do not be of harm to the humans’, or are you not there at the time of the prophecy message that says: ‘do not harm the humans because they will save our world?”.

Then the youngest of the three mermaids came back to her senses and returned the magic stick to herself. Then the little Ebres misunderstood and asked Raphina some questions, “what prophecy are you talking about, how can the human save your world, what happened to your world?”.

Raphina the eldest sister of the three mermaids answered her saying, “a prophecy was giving not to harm humans because humans will be the one to save our world from the difficulties we are living on, ever since the humans have turned our world to a weak one they are still the same one the prophecy talk about that will save us”.

The little Ebres asked, “what difficulties are you in?”.

“We can not transform back to a mermaid, even when we go back to the sea, we can not live as a mermaid, that is why we live here on this island with our legs,'' Raphina answered.

The little Ebres do not know why they are wishing themselves a tale instead of a leg, so she said, “but you are good this way with your legs”.

Raphina can understand the lives of a mermaids and the advantage of controlling the sea and the land, so she replied, “we are mermaids and we can not escape that, because we can not fully use our abilities with ordinary this form, the sea have been our first home and this island have been our second home, but now now we can not go back to our first home were all our powers belonged because we have no male in us”.

“Male, are you talking about the merman but how do you come to reproduce, and this your little sister, she can not be more than six years of age, how was that possible when you have no male?” the little Ebres asked.

Raphina told the little Ebres some about their story saying, “our male hold the key to our powers but they are long gone because they gave up their own lives to save us, they are still alive in the pool of fate as we think”.

“The pool of fate?” asked the little Ebres.

“Yes that pool is where our fate began” answered by Raphina, she continues to say, “the pool of fate is the pool entrance from the island to the sea, and if we are to transform then we must passed through the pool of fate, when we pass through the pool of fate, then we can find ourselves in the sea with a complete mermaids and merman's body with full powers to control the sea and the land.

Before we can go through the pool of fate, we must ask for permission from the male who seems closer to anyone who wants something from the pool, so without the permission of the merman, the pool of fate is meaningless to the mermaids.
