THE ROD OF COMMAND

OTHER WORLDS BENEATH THE SEA

Under the sea there were other worlds there. They were different from humans because they possess special powers and they are immortal. They live for more than five thousand years, then they rejuvenate and turn back to a new baby.

Their period of living continues to increase in numbers. They were not mermans or mermaids, yes! Their home was beneath the sea, about thousands of miles from the sea.

So war broke out from the three different Nations, a powerful Queen Sisiana who was the greatest of all because of the hidden powers she possessed.

The other two Nations who were also powerful, but not like Queen Sisiana. They were fighting because of the Rod Of Command that the Queen possessed, though not actually originated from her.

They also fought because of the Ring of Life but she overpowered them and they fled away, so she chased after them with her war chariots and her war men.

A war chariot full of fire, it was called a fire war chariot, the horses are not not like horses, they are more like Camels with horses heads, and have the tails of snakes.

As Queen sisiana was getting closer to them, they caused a great tornado and hurricane to stop her from catching them and the disaster affected the ship. John, Helena and their baby Brent were also affected.

The wind was too strong and the waves of the sea rose above the ship, pouring to the ship causing the ship to sink.

About six hundred and twenty-five people including the sailors were all affected and the ship overturned in the sea.

The safety of his family was the major concern of John so he searched for a swimming suit and found only one.

There was nothing he could do since the swimming suit found was only one, while he struggles for his family to be saved, Helena carrying the little baby Brent in her arms.

The place they were standing got bent down as the other side was heavier than the first side and they were separated, so John went to the other side while Helena and baby Brent were also at the other side.

Helena was still holding her baby, when a small piece of wood fell from the ship on the top and hit her with her baby down to the sea, while John who was at the other side ran to help them in the sea.

“Helena, are you alright?” John asked.

“John… down here, we are here” Helena answered.

John jumped down to the sea, with no choice and he gave the only swimming suit to Helena to save her and their son.

He tried as much as he could to make sure that his wife and his son would be alive and he got drawn and died.

Still in the middle of the broken ship in the sea.

Helena carried her baby boy, lifted him up to keep him alive, but because of the woods that kept falling on her, she fainted and the baby was gone from her to beneath the sea. The baby Brent goes down, down beneath the last edge of the sea and he never gets drawn at all.

Immediately a bad shark was moving slowly towards the baby, and the shark continued to move around until another shark arrived, and the one that newly arrived was greater than the first, so the first shark was chased away. Then another creature like octopus but with sharp teeth and four horns which makes it different from octopus.

So the two different fish focused on each other and they stood for some seconds to see who would eat the baby, they attacked themselves fighting for the baby, and none of them was able to get the baby to their mouths.

Meanwhile Queen Sisiana later catched them up in a rough way, but they continue to run while others stand to fight to buy more time for the escape of the rest. So she was battling with the two different nations even though they were so weak, they continued to run, as they were retreating because she was too powerful and because she used the Rod Of Command to fight them. She also tries to prevent the disaster they caused.

Queen Sisiana continued to use the Rod Of Command severally in a negative way to fight her enemy, and because of that, the Rod Of Command was forced out of her hand.

After it fell off from her hand, she could not let it go, so she ran after the Rod Of Command and continued to chase after it until she followed it to where the sharks and the shark octopus were fighting.

But the octopus shark killed the shark and went directly to eat the baby. Even though the octopus shark wanted to eat the baby Brent at all means, it could not because the Queen was behind and holding the octopus shark.

So instantly she destroys the octopus shark with no stress then takes the baby Brent to her world.

Helena was still unconscious but she never got drawn because of the swimming suit that John gave to her. And the wave of the sea moved her to the seashore, but all the rest of the people on the ship died including John, he died because he gave up his life for Helena and his son Brent.

Helena was not dead but still unconscious and a boat man found her beside the sea. As fate put it, Catman, the man who hit her with a car and ran away was the same man that saved her and took her home.

She spent two days before regaining her life back and when she woke up she shouted about her baby and almost went crazy.

“My baby, my baby…” she shouted. But there was nothing she could do since no matter how crazy she shouted, she needed to understand that her baby was gone.

Later, after some days, she heard that all the people in the ship were dead and immediately she heard that she fell sick.

After two weeks in sick bed, she got better, so she asked Catman to do her a favor, the man who hit her with a car. Even though he remembered, he could not tell Helena his sin, so he kept it secret for her.

He kept it secret but his conscience always judged him, and sometimes he felt bad about Helena but he always felt happy for saving her at the seashore too, that was because he thought he had repaid her back for what he did to her.

One day Helena told Catman to escort her to the sea shore again, that was where Catman found her in the first place. Helena could not do anything and she cries everyday because she lost her baby and her beloved man.

Later after some days, Helena was sitting at a lonely place under a tree in the garden, thinking how empty she was. At that time, Catman was looking for her and found her there.

“Have been looking all around for you, are you alright?” Catman asked.

“Why has this happened to me, what hope is left for me?” Helena asked with tears in reply.

Looking at her with smiles, he said, “I am sorry but you should know how lucky you are because you are the only one alive on that wrecked ship. So just be happy, you have the opportunity to start over again, I mean you can start a new life here in this small town”.

So he helped her home that very moment after the talk.

The next day, Helena prepared to travel to another City called ‘City Of Light’ where she planned to stay and start a new life, since the city was her dreamed city.

The City Of Light was a popular city known as the City full of wonders, wonderful and weird things at the same time, things that no one has ever experienced elsewhere .

The City Of Light was known as the City of success, so people travel away from their city to start a new life in the city, the place where John and Helena dreamed of raising their baby.

Though Catman did not want her to leave, he wished Helena should start a new beginning in his place, but she insisted.

So he promised her that the moment she stepped on the City Of Light, he would return back to her, one day when the time comes with what he owed her.

“I know I have a lot to tell you, of those things I owned you, but I promise one day when the time comes, I will tell you everything” Catman said.

“What do you mean when the time comes, and what you owned me?” Helena asked curiously.

“Do not worry, I will come and find you one day, and tell you everything” he answered.

But Helena was not comfortable with Catman's words, so she asked again.

“What exactly are you hiding from me, is there anything I should be hoping to hear from you which you think I should not hear right now?”.

Catman answered, “as I said, I have a lot to tell you, from those things I owned you, I will split it all out to you when we meet again, I wish you well on your journey as you will be expecting me very soon”. So they departed.

Then Helena left the small town and continued on her journey to the City Of Light. It was only a one hour journey from the small town she lives in to the City Of Light.

Still on her way, inside the bus, an old man was sitting beside her on the left hand side.

“You are nothing different from my granddaughter in looks, just the way you smile is the same with my granddaughter, her name is Mary”. The old man said.

Helena replied and asked, “Really, I am glad to look like your granddaughter, where is she, I mean… where is Mary?”

“She died! She was among the people who lost their lives recently on the ship. She was coming with my son and his wife with Mary, their only daughter.

Together I lost them all, how can such an old man live alone? Each time I begged death to take me away, I am useless to live” The old man answered with tears.

She replied again, “I am so sorry for your loss, I also lost my loved ones in that ship too”.

The old man shook his head left and right, and breathed deeply, then kept silent.

Helena continued, “I just gave birth to my little baby, how lucky it would have been if I was lost with my husband on the sea, and my baby was saved, it could have been better. But no one was able to get out except me, how unlucky I am”. She smiles bitterly.

The old man replied, “ I am truly sorry, I should not have brought this up”.

“No it is okay, we need to be strong and move on, that is the only way to make them happy” Helena said.

So they remained silent and focused on their journey. On getting to the middle of the road, an antelope ran across the bus and stood on the road as if the antelope was picking something on the ground.

“What is that?” The driver asked nervously and stepped on the brake but the brake never worked, so the driver managed to turn the wheel towards the bush to avoid killing the antelope, then the bus hit a big tree and stopped.

They all came out, while the driver got wounded but they pulled him out of the driver's seat to the ground.

Later after some hours, they continue wandering in the forest, as they never knew where they were. The old man who had a discussion with Helena pointed hand to lead them to the right path.

They continued to walk until evening. The old man was the only one who knew every corner of the forest as he showed them the way out. They got out of the forest after two days.

So they landed on the main road, where they waited for some hours until they were rescued.

After that day, the old man and Helena were discharged from the hospital after they were given proper treatment.

So later, the old man and Helena became so close and he helped Helena, he made her the director of his company, so she became rich.
