SECRET SIDE OF THE POOL OF FATE

She cries as she hold Delmar so tight with her two hands, and her tears keep falling upon Delmar's back neck to shoulder side, saying,  

“l can not forgive you for lying to me, I never lied to you before because I do not have any secrets hidden from you, but you, what do you take me for? You kept breaking my heart, why because you did not trust me, or because you are afraid I will leave you.

To be honest I really want to break up with you, but I can not, I can not bear to leave you Delmar, I really want to hit you so badly now”. so she cries holding Delmar. 

 Delmar regret as tears falls down from his two eyes unknowingly and said, “hit me as much as you want Evelyn to feel better, am really sorry for lying to you several times, can you please let it go, please am sorry forgive me, I promise I will never hide anything from you”. 

Hearing that, Evelyn turned her head and faced Delmar as both of them kept looking at each other's eyes and kissed gently. 

After they kissed themselves, Delmar asked the chief mermaid, “how can I save your world because I knew nothing about how to save your people unless you showed me what to do, you told me a prophecy said your world will be saved by human, how do you know i am the one?”.  

 The chief mermaid answered, “When I first saw Evelyn, I thought she was the one, but look at this tablet stone, any human who traveled to our world to save us according to the prophecy, the human name will be written on the tablet stone. But when Evelyn came, her name was not written in full telling us that she will make a way for our savior. 

You are here because Evelyn was here, she lead the way and lead you to us And seeing her eyes, I saw you the Hero Angel in her eyes, now look even Ebres name was also not written in full but look at your name completely written in the tablet stone, you are the choosing one for our ransom Delmar”. 

“But how?” Delmar asked.  

The chief Mermaid answered, “According to the prophecy you will save our world and freed us from not giving birth to a male child who will restore our blessings and make our world a better one again through you, but am curious how this will happen because you are not human, or maybe because you have live with the humans, you are called human?”. 

As she was still talking to Delmar, the tablet stone brighten up and began to write by itself, “ The blood of the choosing human will be so powerful to free the mermans from the pool of fate and once they have been freed, then everything will go back to is normal position”.  

After that, the writing on the tablet stone  disappeared, Delmar was so confused and so do the chief mermaid, because the prophecy talked about human and the tablet stone will bring out the name of the humans who traveled to their world as their savior, so the chief Mermaid speaking to herself saying, “the human blood will freed us from this calamity, but Delmar is not an human, how could the prince and future King of Shashiah the son of the great Queen Sisiana from the  underworld be human?”.

The chief Mermaid was confused but Delmar instantly stopped thinking about that, so he took a wooden knife made from bamboo stick and cut his right and left palm hands, after seeing the blood are coming out, he entered to the pool of fate and everyone was looking at him as he go down until his head was not seen again.

Evelyn was afraid even though her lover was not an ordinary man, still she wished nothing bad happened to him.

Beneath the pool of fate, there were two beautiful roads. One leading to the sea and the other leading to the palace of the gods, the two roads each have big cups called the cups of fate.

Any mermaid or Merman seeking to go to the sea must drink from the big cup of fate and gain a lot of powers, having a tale and a lot of abilities under the sea, and the other road leading to the palace of the gods stands for any Mermans seeking help from the gods of the pool and the gods of their world.

Only the Mermans are granted access to the road to the gods to communicate. The two roads leading to the sea are all block, because the Mermans who stands  as the strength of the pool are all stuck in the roads of the gods.

So no connection to open the gate, no one to grant them access to either the road leading to the sea or the road leading to the gods of the pool and their mermaid world, the merman's stand as a blessing to them because through them they gain access to whatever they wish for.

But since they are stuck and they never come out of the pool of fate because they choose to save their mermaid, the mermaid island and home turn upside down, even though their world is still beautiful but all their powers are gone and they stop receiving the blessings that belonged to them.

Delmar was still walking and as he reached the gate that never opened for centuries, because of his blood on his hands, the pool of fate gave him access to opens the two gate, the gate of the gods and the gate of the sea where all open and he walked in but to the gate of the gods. 

He chose the gate of the gods because he knew that was where the solution to the mermaid home calamities was. He continues to walk and sees a big round place that looks like an old palace. There were twenty seven sitting chairs that were built with gold. And on each chair, there were names written on each of them.

But only one of the twenty seven sitting chairs was different because it was bigger and designed in another color different from the rest and that one never has a name on it. 

While Delmar was still wondering the meaning of those twenty seven golden chairs and why one was different from them, he saw a shadow with crown on his head sitting down on the different chair and speak, “Welcome the choosing one, I am Merikashi the king of the pool of fate, and also the god who all the mermaid home belonged to, the sea belonged to me the island belonged to me. 

But I am powerless without the help of the mermans who should be sitting down next to me on the rest seats”.

So Delmar asked, “but where are they, and are they still alive to sit back in those  seats?”. 

Merikashi the king of the gods replied, “that is why you are here to save us and save the whole mermaid world, there is another palace called palace of destruction, it is a place created by itself to punish any gods who failed to follow the rules, and because it created itself and no one knows how to defeat destruction, we all follows the rules even though is against us”. 

“What rules are they?” Delmar asked. “not to save without giving”, Merikashi answered.

“Not to save without giving, like saving a soul and paying back with soul?” Delmar asked. 

Merikashi the King of the gods replied, “yes, even though I am called the King of the gods, I can not challenge destruction because he is undefeatable and we can not disobey him, but I hope you can not only free the merman's gods but also destroy destruction and he should cease to exist in the pool of fate”.

After that, Delmar left his side and went directly to the palace of destruction, on getting there, he saw a crowd of mermans standing at one place, they were all freezed as they never shake nor talk. 

Their eyes remained open and never blinked but through their eyes a tear was dropping down and in the water tears were written, “the choosing one to set us free”. 

He got closer to see more, and he saw a white transparent cotton surrounded the mermans, looking at them he also noticed they have fish tail as they all stand, but he was not surprised since they are called mammans so they must be half human half fish.

He wondered why they were crying without breathing or shaking, but seeing what their tears were, he felt pity for them thinking they might have missed their families a lot for them to be crying inside. 

Delmar continue searching for a way to free the mermans gods but he never find it to be so easy, but he never stopped despite that the transparent cotton never allow him in, he was only granted access to enter to the pool of fate through his blood but the blood seems not to be active to open the cotton transparent, even though he tried several times.
