"How are they? What's the problem?"
"You're pregnant. Why didn't you tell me?" He sat down and held her slender hand.
Lilith Douglas felt a bit apologetic. "I was going to tell you, but I've been feeling unwell lately. I was afraid there might be something wrong with the baby, and I didn't want to get your hopes up for nothing. Is there something wrong with the baby?"
Fu Huaien tenderly tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear. "No, everything is fine with the baby.
