The whole thing was still blurry. The excruciating pain in my head started to lessen. I did not kill my best friend.
"Xipher, it's not me," I softly said.
For the first time after what happened, I chose to fight for myself. I started to tremble after remembering the painful past. I can't believe that Alayah was really gone.
I felt my tears falling not because it's painful to remember but because I can feel the guilt. Maybe that's the reason why I ended up losing my memories. It's too painful for me to remember.
