It sure was one weird night; Kess reflected as she stretched and rolled over onto her side. Funny, she thought; I don’t remember crawling into bed. “Oh, well,” she murmured tiredly. Then Kess began to smile at the absurdity of the whole dream she had just had. Geez, it was the most life-like dream she had ever had. What’s next? Dragons and unicorns? Kess lay on her back while she drowsily stretched a sore and battered body. A trickle of awareness began to drift through Kess’ stupor. Her mind began to sort and sift through this crazy dream.
