I woke up and looked around. The sun was already up and I was not a morning person at all. I slowly got up from bed and walked toward the bathroom. I quickly brushed my teeth and quickly finished my daily routine. I jumped in for a quick shower because It will help me to remain calm. I came out a chose a light yellow sundress with green and pink flowers scattered on it. I brushed my hair and headed downstairs.
Mom was still sitting in her rocking chair. I looked around and all the things were intact. That means she didn’t sleep last night. I kicked myself in my head for causing her this much pain.
