“She is my only daughter,” She said and my eyes widened in shock like they would bulge out from my eye sockets any minute.
“Is she really your daughter?” I again confirmed and she nodded her head while wiping her tears.
“How can you do this to your own daughter? Why did you stop me from saving your daughter?” I asked in an angry voice and she looked at me with sad eyes before lowering her gaze.
“Because I not only want to save my daughter. There are hundreds of other daughters as well, who are also waiting for someone to save them,” My anger dissipated, and creases of worry appeared on my forehead.
